About 15 years ago I worked at the Augusta, Georgia airport. David Cassidy came to town one morning to do a radio interview. When he came back to the airport to catch his plane, the girls at the National Car Rental counter wanted to meet him but could not leave the counter. I went out to his limo as he was getting out and asked him if he could go down to the car rental counter to meet the girls. He told me he had to check his flight and if he had time he would come to the counter.
Five minutes later he came down and signed autographs and chatted for about 10 minutes. He was very nice.
