I want to thank Harry Connick, Jr. for being the wonderful, talented and caring man that he is. I received this personal note from him and couldn’t be more grateful for his love and support. I wish him the best of everything; he deserves it.

  2. Hang in there David and don’t give up. Just please do not do any more concerts if you are not feeling well as the media just have a field day. They are heartless and relentless. Stay focused and look after yourself. We are all worried.

My dear David, this was very thoughtful of Harry, I know all of your fans feel the same way… David you are such a wonderful loving person, you allow ‘you’ to be on stage not some plastic celebrity. I am always so blown away at your interviews of how much you respect and love others, I’ve not heard you say one bad thing about any of the people you have met in your life, celeb or not. You are a class act dear David. Thank you for being you, thank you for the love you exude! The love of Jesus is certainly in you and I pray that you will draw closer to Him each day, He will help you through this… He is the great Healer!   14. Beautiful note. David, like a million others, I was in love with you when I was 12 years old. (I got to see you twice in white fringe!) Later, it was terrific to see you in Rat Pack Is Back at Mohegan Sun. I must’ve seen it 50 times. Don, the manager of the Cabaret at the time, even sat me at “Bobby Darrin’s” table a couple of times. What a thrill! I became friends with Rick Michel, because he saw me in the audience so many times! And I didn’t miss a performance in the Wolf Den. (When you sang Cherish, I held up the sign “We Cherish You”) And we DO cherish you. We pray for you. And we love you.

    I know what you are going through in a way, my Mother-in-law has dementia, and to see someone you love go through it it is heartbreaking. She sleeps 22 hours a day, and remembers nothing, but the special part is she still remembers us, might get us mixed up, calling her son, her brother, or my children her son or brother. I was in New York 2013 at the Today Show getting a makeover and we talk before I got to see myself, I really enjoyed that, you touch my heart. We have all the episodes of the Partridge Family down loaded. You have touch many hearts, I will pray for you and your family.Diana

  17. Dear David, it was great to hear from you today, all of us fans were counting the days wondering about you . thank you for posting your message. I hope you enjoy the break. I can’t wait to hear the songs you’re father thought you .You sang O’ Danny Boy’with you’re dad . O my it was beautiful to listen to . My dad was a tenor he used to sing that song. He is passed now , it brought a tear to my eye when listening to you and ur dad singing it. Sending you Love and Light David, my love for you is endless. Love from Ireland.

  18. My Dear David I saw you on Dr. Phil and I am so sorry to hear you have dementia.
    My mom has had it for about 4 years and now early stages of alzheimers. So I understand
    what you are going through and I wish I could be there to help you. But I know that you
    have a loving family and good friends to help you and above all you have God.
    You showed us all how strong you are with your love and kindness straight from your heart.
    You will always be remembered for who you are. I always loved your concerts, acting,
    whatever you do it’s done with love and passion. I heared on YouTube you sing a song your
    dad Jack taught you. I am hungry for more! With all my Love!!!!

    I fell completely in love with you when I was about 14 years old. I had all of your posters on my walls, I played all of your records. My favorite song was “Brown eyes” because I always imagined that you were singing it to me 🙂
    I’ve seen you in concert probably 50 times!! My first concert was in Atlantic City. I was in the front row & you reached down & touched my hand. You made a 14 year old girl’s dream come true.
    I wish you all of the best in this next chapter in life. Take care if you!! Laugh a lot, love unconditionally, forgive, be the best you!! I will always love you as I’m sure many of your fans feel the same way. Please don’t listen to the negative comments from ignorant people who judge what they can’t understand.
