Memorial Bench To Be Built at NMRHOF

The National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame in Saratoga Springs will be the site of an outdoor bench to honor the memory of entertainer David Cassidy and his contributions to the Thoroughbred industry. The cost of the bench is $2,500 and will be covered by donations from fans. Donations are tax deductible and every donor will be invited to the Museum Courtyard dedication scheduled for the end of April.
Cassidy, who became involved in racing as an owner/breeder, made efforts to ensure the protection of retired race horses and was involved in fundraising to benefit the cause.
Donations toward the bench, which can be made in memory of David Cassidy, can be contributed via phone by calling 518-584-0400, extension 100; via mail to the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame, 191 Union Ave., Saratoga Springs, NY, 12866; on Facebook with an accompanying phone call; or online at racingmuseum.org.

David Cassidy Memorial

First an introduction: I took over Jade’s Downunder David Cassidy Fansite in November 2004 and redesigned the site with the aim of creating a complete record of David’s amazing talent; detailing all aspects of his life and as a record of the impact David had on fans from around the world. Cat allowed me to incorporate much of her Da-idy website so that a complete record of David’s activities could be kept together. In 2011 David asked me to incorporate my, now very large, Fansite into his official website.  There are now over 5870 pages and over 15000 photos, thanks to contributions from fans from around the world.

I suggest that WE make the site a lasting memorial to David.

I invite all fans who were would like to contribute to David’s memorial (website) to email jane@davidcassidy.com

I will try to add things to the site as often as I can. You can see the latest additions at http://www.davidcassidy.com/fansite/FansPages/New_Pages_and_Updates.html

David Cassidy Tributes

There was an outpouring of love for David after his death. Some of the comments and stories have been added to David’s website. You can read them here.

From David’s family: “People are exploiting David’s name and likeness.  Please don’t buy any products “In Memoriam” as they are not approved, licensed or authorized. Please notify us of any you come upon so we can stop them. Thank you.”

Website – A record of David’s amazing talent

This website is back up and fully functional.

Sincere apologies for the website issues we experienced, due to heavy visitor traffic, over the last few days.

The website, as many of you know, is a record of David’s amazing talent as a singer, song-writer, actor, writer and producer with thousands of pages, photos, and videos. Thank you to all the fans that have contributed to this website in the past.
