Message from David – May 5, 2017

I’m about to go to Chicago in the next 2 weeks to record in Craig’s state of the art studio to begin doing my tribute to my mentor and father. People may respond that it’s just worship of my male role model, especially as he basically abandoned me and my mother. I truly believe he was the most talented man I’ve ever known. Soooooooo, I’m going to go in and pay tribute to him with “Songs my father taught me”.

Teri and Frank are flying in. As you all know, we record Live! Live! Live! It’s the only authentic way! It’s the way I learned and was taught from 19 years of age!! I truly believe this will be my last recording, and it’s been something I’ve been thinking about for many years.

Happy Trails,
DC

HAPPY TRAILS…

HAPPY TRAILS…
A number of fans have been asking why David often uses ‘Happy Trails’ to end his messages. Fan’s first noticed David using this in the liner notes of ‘Dreams Are Nuthin’ More Than Wishes’ LP in 1973.

David said ‘It’s the song that Roy Rogers and his wife sang at the beginning and the end of their TV show when I was a very young boy!! I loved that song they sang on horseback.’

A ‘Dr. Phil’ Exclusive: The David Cassidy Interview

The interview will air on Wednesday March 1, 2017.

In an exclusive interview with Dr. Phil, music legend David Cassidy speaks out for the first time since recently revealing that he is suffering from dementia.

Cassidy says he first noticed symptoms two-and-a-half years ago, leading him to visit the doctor. “When friends or family members ask you, ‘Remember, I just told you this two days ago?’ and there’s no memory of it … that’s when I began to be very concerned,” Cassidy says of the first symptom he noticed.
