To my Fans

Thank you so much for your thoughts and concerns as we live through another deadly storm here and all across the Eastern seaboard. It’s been wild for me to fly back home from finishing recording the Xmas tracks with Craig in Chicago the past week, and although I knew it was gaining strength I wasn’t aware it would arrive so soon.

My area wasn’t hit very hard compared to those who live further north and also inland. I live very close to the beach on a small waterway, and we have been pretty fortunate that the heaviest wind, rain and destruction occurred north of us. Not to, in any way, diminish the hundreds and possible thousands of humans who will or have already suffered.

I thank you all for your love and concern for me, but say a prayer for those who aren’t as fortunate as I.

XO.

The Wrecking Crew

I learned so much from John and Tom and all of the singers. In the 70s there were few, if any, who could compare with their talent and singing acumen. As a singer I was naïve and raw when I met them. I learned so much from them. It was an education in background singing and harmonies. I was always enhanced by their remarkable educated talent. I will be eternally grateful for what I learned from them. God Bless you Tom and your brother John and Jackie and all the others who made my life so wonderful. I will never forget you.

Someone brought this special [The Partridge Family – The Complete Story] to my attention this morning – it is a sweet journey down memory lane – I had no idea that “I THINK I LOVE YOU” was the number 1 selling single in 1970 – beating out The Beatles “LET IT BE” – WTF – for us it was another gig – a very pleasant experience working with good friends and making new friends – loved working with Jackie Ward and Ron Hicklin and my brother John Bähler – we sang together almost daily – David Cassidy is one helluva singer blessed with great talent and commensurate work ethic – Mike Melvoin – arranged the tracks, performed by The Wrecking Crew – my brother John did the majority of our vocal charts and I did the rest – it was a great experience – love to all
