I appreciate your love and concern

Recently I have had eye surgery and I had a fall. I broke another finger on my left hand but that’s okay, it is healing. Nothing will stop me from playing and from doing what I love to do.

I was really sick during the San Diego concert. It took me almost 12 hours to get to San Diego because a flight was delayed by 4 ½ hours. That didn’t help, but I am really great now and I’m looking forward to this summer.

I had an amazing number of messages from friends and fans who heard I was really ill. I was, but it will take a lot for me not to play. I know a lot of people spend a lot of money to come and see me so I don’t want to let them down unless I am completely unable to go on stage.

Thank you for all the messages that I received from all over the world. I really appreciate them.

I am really okay and back better than ever and feeling really, really excited about the shows I have coming up. I really appreciate all of your love and concern.

I am more excited now about playing than I have ever been. I am having the best time I have ever had playing live now. It’s an amazing experience. I feel so blessed to be able to do what I love to do.

Much love,
David

Alzheimer’s

I have been told that a few of you have asked if you could donate some money to the Alzheimer’s Association in my mom’s name.

That would be lovely. It would mean a lot to me. Whatever you could afford would be wonderful.

I love you all. Thank you for your interest and support for the Alzheimer’s Association and my auction. It was very successful. Everyone was very pleased as was I.

My interest now has become even greater than it has been, in raising awareness, education, and hopefully helping to do, what we need to do, for the millions of others that would suffer in the future.

God Bless,
DC

Donations to the American Alzheimer’s Association in honor of Evelyn Ward, David’s mother, can be made here.

Thank You!

Thank you for all of your lovely and wonderful birthday messages to me. Sorry I’m so old; I wish I was 23 instead of 63!!! I had a lovely day with Sue and Beau.

My life is good and I’m very happy. I met a couple of very good friends recently and that’s a wonderful thing.

I am very grateful for your continued support.
God Bless,

DC

To my fans

I hope that your new year is great.

I am very much looking forward to working with Micky of The Monkees and Peter of Herman’s Hermits. This week we are rehearsing and putting our show together. I am also working on some other projects at the moment. I’ve been getting calls about possible television work but I don’t necessarily want to live back in LA so we will see.

I am helping Beau as much as possible; his writing is fantastic. Lately he’s busy travelling between Las Vegas, LA and London.

I send you all my love and thanks. I hope you can come and see some of the new stuff that we are doing. I am really enjoying what I am doing now; playing with this band and performing. It’s been an amazing time.

Much Love,

David
