July 30, 2025 – Remembering David

The Town of West Orange, New Jersey has agreed to co-name Elm Street as “David Cassidy Way” where David lived at his grandparent’s home, during his childhood.   This is in addition to the Historical Marker that is being placed at Colgate Field in West Orange, where David played Little League Baseball. 

The unveiling with take place on Wednesday, July 30, 2025. 

Now you can own an official town sized David Cassidy Way sign ($75.00) or a miniature version ($45.00). This special piece of memorabilia will be a wonderful addition in keeping David’s legacy alive.

This is a PREORDER with a deadline of 5/31/25. Prices are not guaranteed after May 31, 2025. These pre-order signs will be ready to ship by the end of June, 2025. Choose either to ship it or pick it up for free in West Orange at Uptown Ink & Thread, 33 Harrison Avenue. Taxes and shipping costs will be added during checkout. August 16, 2022 – David Cassidy: A Triple Crown Life Event

The David Cassidy: A Triple Crown Life Event will be held at Putnum Place in Saratoga Springs, NY on August 16th, 2022

Hosted by the David Cassidy Memorial Legacy Group (DCMLG), the fundraiser aims to promote racing and to support Thoroughbred aftercare organizations.

I Think I Love You Animal Foundation

Breeder and vet Dr. Jerry Bilinski and trainer Gary Contessa, along with their wives Darlene Bilinski and Jennifer Contessa, have founded the I Think I Love You Animal Foundation, a 501c3 non-profit formed to serve the welfare of animals in memory of David Cassidy. The David Cassidy Memorial Legacy Group provided some minor assistance with this project.

The goals is to help animals in need everywhere through the support of Cassidy’s friends and fans. Cassidy was a lifelong animal lover and often donated to animal welfare groups, including those that care for retired Thoroughbreds. A website is in the works, but, in the meantime, those looking to make donations can send a check or money order payable to the I Think I Love You Foundation Inc. to P.O. Box 982, Latham, N.Y.
