Dear David
I’m very happy that you’re feeling well and enjoying your summer there, it’s winter here in Sydney but not too cold at the moment. I love the above photos of your ’80s concerts and would have loved to have seen you there. Thanks to the fans who posted them. I hope your recordings went well and am looking forward to hearing them soon. I hope you’re enjoying life and whatever you want to do. You were and are the best and I love listening to your voice and music as much as I ever did. Hope to hear from you again soon. I send you all my love and best wishes.
From someone who’s always loved you,
Sandra

Dear David,
You are in my thoughts and prayers a lot these days, as you battle your latest health challenges.
It’s great to see that you are in the studio recording songs that are so meaningful to you–and with some of your longstanding friends and bandmates (multiple blessings!).
I do hope that you are taking time to reflect on some of the things your grandparents stressed in your life as well: saving faith in God, etc. You’ve had such an incredible life journey (!), but what good is gaining the whole world and losing your soul (if you are not making a deep faith and relationship with our Creator vital parts of your life)? I don’t know where you’re at, David. I am just concerned for you.
May you thoroughly enjoy the rest of your recording of the “songs [your] father taught you”! I wish you health, healing, happiness, and hope-filled days!
Your unknown friend,
Catherine Barrier
Thank you Catherine,
you are talking from deep in my heart! I’m also praying for David every day, that he may find peace in Jesus, because He will come again soon. He will take home to heaven for eternal live – all those who loved Him.
Dear David, I wish to meet you there!!! May God bless you every day!
Yours: Elke
David said he was “born again,” which means he became a Christian, back in 2015 on the Piers Morgan show. But he started off talking about his change with the charismatic, “spiritual,” experience he apparently had, thinking everyone has an icing-on-the-cake experience when they get saved.
He was interrupted by Piers and was led to get off the subject and talk about Sue. He apologized to Sue. Then he came back to the subject because he wasn’t finished talking about it. At that point, he finally mentioned being “born again.”
He totally gave up control to God and his eyes were opened as to things he had done and is now sorry for. Piers started to say that he had “a chance” for change and David said he was “already there.”
He mentioned most important, “born again” part, at about 21:43 into this clip:

I went to see David during this period at the Royal Albert Hall in London. This venue is enormous and very difficult to play! But David and his then band made sure everyone had the time of their lives! He is so very talented, he adapted his voice with ease to this gigantic venue! There are very few singers around these days who could compete with that!
Old pics or new — always a treat.
All stages of life — still keeping the beat.
We carry our baggage — in the body and mind
Still, we’ve got to keep going — each day we will find.
We all are united — not really different at all
Our hearts we must follow and heed destiny’s call.
Hi, David,
I hope you are staying well and enjoying life. Please know that your beautiful face and delightful songs were an important bright spot in our young lives in the early 70’s, what with the Vietnam War still going on then, young men being drafted and not returning or coming back injured. I remember being at a babysitting gig, hearing over the radio Richard Nixon resign from office, and then the station played a Partridge Family song after the newscast! We are again in scary times, North Korea is gaining on the U.S., and I still play and replay your songs to feel good. Your music will live on forever.
Love, Leihsia
such lovely photos of david in concert, at that time did not even know you were in the united kingdom, sad i missed those concerts. you looked great.
Dear Barbara,
don’t worry you missed David at those concerts at the Royal Albert Hall. David put his heart and soul into his performance at the Royal Albert Hall. However, although it was a long time ago, around 1985, I do remember having difficulty in tracking down where I could buy the tickets for David’s concert. Then there was a problem with where you were seated. I soon discovered the fans who really had a great time were the ones lucky enough to have tickets at the front of the arena. I was in a box situated at the back! David was about two inches high from where I was sitting! So, please don’t worry about missing out that night, and you can easily catch up with David’s performances as they were filmed and available for viewing on the internet!
a little late for worrying, i did not know david was even in england and having a full time job and just got wed was busy with my own life, in a way i grew out of being a david cassidy fan, as i was only 14 when i saw him at wembley in the 70s still a child really, a teenage crush, just died away and i went to do other things in my life, then the disco days came along, but not having the internet, news was very limited, saw david on his 66th birthday but did not take any pics it was lovely so i have seen him twice. a great musician and singer.
Great pics David, and thank you to the lovely people who provided them. Only wish I could have been there myself .
Xxxx

You got all the love right here, and everywhere. David you cannot be duplicated ever, as in there is only one you, God had a plan for you in this world, and you may not think that, you had hardships, we the fans did not realize all of it because you made us so happy for so so so many years, including right now beening part of your website. The first time I meet you was 1981, for me and the few times after, the most memorable thought to describing those times was your kindness and your calmness. To this day, your accomplishments are from a to z, than we can go from a to z again. I thank God I got enjoy your work, and you David for all your hard work you did for us fans. It’s nice to hear the birds chirping, it’s a blessing God gave you a singing voice, and you never gave up and worked so hard on your career, you made life so happy and now I just want you to be happy and be who you have always been. I’m missing you David, and hi Felicia, I love all the pics of David. Hi Margaret, David your website is a nice place to be. David Cassidy you are special to all.
Hi, Denice.
I sure hope David looks into trying organic coconut oil so he can wean himself back off of whatever drugs he’s being given. The goal of those of us who love him is to reverse the disease and get him better, not to make big pharma and the doctors rich.
I’ve posted this before, but here it is again:

Hello David, John Lennon wrote the song HELP when he was 25yrs old. HELP I need somebody but not just anybody life eh ? The road we travel life’s experiences moulds us to a certain degree our walk through life I am not what happened to me, I am what I choose to become. Life is spectacular forget the dark things and let time wash them away to wherever time washes away to. You have a lot of people wishing you well and hoping you are staying positive. If you have a bad day then you just dust yourself down and start afresh. I am a stranger reaching out my hand in friendship and hoping the best for you I believe you are stronger than you yourself believe. Life to live to love you have a lot of people who love you David. Madeleine from Scotland X x x
Hi Madeleine, your post is right on, the best advice, yes once we become adults we do choose who we become, your right have to leave the dark behind, if I go back in my life, and stayed there, I would of missed out of life, it’s hard to move on, once you create the new, it’s the best, and so many doors of greatness open. David your fans are a true support team. We love and care, I know you are a person who will work everything out, cause you are highly intelligent, on top of your super talent. Wish you a happy day. Hi Felicia, I read the letters yesterday, I will write soon. Yes friendship is the best, with many rewards, one is true friends don’t come around everyday. David Cassidy has opened this door for our friendship to have become a reality. Have take risks and keep moving. That’s why so nice tell David, some of our secrets . Every fan is caring to, post what they feel and want to say, ?
David, thank you for picking a special memory in your life, that was happy and for us fans to be there with you on the songs your father taught you. I give you credit all the way for choosing to record, you have that memory from then to now. From that happy moment, more are to come, and us fans will love, that was such a positive choice to record those songs.
Hello Denice , thank you for your feedback re my post to David sweet of you to comment. You made me smile today. It would be nice to know that he reads through the comments sent and perhaps he may pause for thought at a few, I think as he is clearly only human that perhaps he may. Madeleine from Scotland.
Hi Madeleine, thanks for nice comment, made me smile also, I would believe David reads the comments, he sincere, and he knows we all want the best for him. That’s why we’re here. Nice to go down memory lane, and see all the pics, those concerts are musical history. And today were all here to let David know what it meant.
David I am so glad you shared those concert pictures. You look so great! But I have to say
I do like you better in your natural color hair. I pray for you always and that God watch
over you.. Please take of yourself . You will always be groovy to all of us !
I still watch the Partridge Family on tv and even have it on dvd along with the concerts
you’ve done in the past! Talk soon.
Carmela Maggio
Honesty, transparency, appreciation, loyalty, someone who respects you enough to never lie to you. Someone who would never abuse your trust and David you deserve someone who will be there for you even if everyone else has walked away. Most of all you deserve LOVE one of the happiest moments in life is when you find the courage to let go of what you can’t change and change what you can ? David if you ever need to talk I am sure Jane will help you find me. Do not feel emptiness, loneliness, hopelessness, I am here and I am real. Madeleine from Scotland X x x
I was lucky enough to see David in concert at the Royal Albert Hall in the 1980s. I wish I had the opportunity to see him in the 1990’s when he was in the UK starring in Blood Brothers. He cried at the end of every performance playing Mickey Johnston, so must have been method acting! The theatre critics were particularly impressed with his ability to do a perfect Liverpudlian accent. I feel David finally had the opportunity to show the scope of his talent. Any fan who saw David in Blood Brothers was very lucky indeed!
Thanks Claire for saying about David’s accent in blood brothers, I was thrilled to see that play with my dad sitting next to me watching one great and mean great performer , the show was fantastic. I also saw David in little Johnny Jones, and on Broadway in Joseph and amazing technicolor dreamboat, and in three concerts. I would do it all over again, for now I have a remembrance of my lifetime. At this point in my life, I’m not here for David because I just love the good looks he comes with, it’s the whole package that singing and acting and so much more, you just get drawn to him, from the first day, he caught my eye on t.v. David you have a nice day, love from Cleveland, this is your time for you in life, and I feel your happy and understanding .
I wrote about David appearing in Blood Brothers because I want to focus on his talents, not only as an actor and singer, but also as a writer and composer. Did anyone see David when he starred in a show in Las Vegas called EFX in 1997? David re-wrote the entire show, altering the characters so the audience could identify with them more. And he made it funny!
Dear David,
Hello.. checking in and hope your summer is fabulous. Its been awhile since we heard from you though babe, so please let us know how your doing.
Love you….Christine xoxoxo
Yes, some of us are getting quite concerned.
Hi David, I don,t know If you are aware Marc Almond from the UK group Soft Cell popular in the 80’s has recorded How Can I Be Sure, its good but not anywhere near your version then nobody could do any version, you did and sound as good as you, but on the up side every time it gets air play your name will be mentioned and that’s a good time, have a wonderful summer lots of love and hugs Yvonne from Scotland X.
Dearest David,
I was checking out the vintage 80’s pictures and was quite pleasantly surprised to read that in 1983 you performed at the Philadelphia Museum of Art with the Philadelphia Pops Orchestra. I was going to leave a comment about it, but I did not want it to be inappropriate since you just lost your friend. Having lost my father, mother, and most recently my older brother (it is all still so surreal), I know how terribly painful loss can be. I will write back at a later date regarding how awesome you playing Philadelphia is to me!
Joanne – PA
David,
I hope you are still doing fine and enjoying your summer.
Margaret – East Texas
XOXOX
Dearest David,
I realize you probably do not read most (if any) of the thousands of comments you receive, but I will give it a try. Previously, I began to post a comment regarding your 1983 performance at the Philadelphia Museum of Art with the Philadelphia Pops Orchestra. That is very impressive Rock Star Cassidy – very impressive! To perform with the Orchestra in the historic city of Philadelphia on the 4th of July is a pretty big deal! Although I have come to appreciate seeing shows in smaller venues (more intimate), I would have stood in that crowd to watch you! (Side note: I have been in the Art Museum several times and really like the Medieval/Renaissance paintings & artifacts – anything with kings, queens, knights, stone castles, etc.) However due to the timing, my regret is that now I know you were there and played yet another show I never got to see you perform! I think I was having an ok summer, but now I am not so sure? Well, I guess it is just (A Day In The Life . . . “I read the news today, oh boy”).
Hope your spirits are up!
Joanne – Swarthmore, PA
P.S.: I sincerely believe you have a kind soul!
Dearest David,
I was surprised that this comment is right beneath my other comment from August 18th. I just wasn’t sure where to post this one. I was reading the answers to the questions you were asked – so, so good!! I hope your home survived Irma. I was pleased to read that warm Florida helps with your arthritis. It has been in the 80’s & low 90’s in this part of PA even though Autumn has officially arrived (and the idiot in the White House says there is no Global Warming). However, change is coming and Autumn is nice. Yet after that, forget it. Snow looks pretty for about 60 seconds and then I am over it. I realize that you are often bombarded with kind words of advice, and here are some more. Just what you wanted, right? I have come to learn (partly from watching various health programs on PBS) that inflammation is a root cause of many ailments in the body, including forms of arthritis. It has been proven that probiotics and drinking Bone Broth help to diminish inflammation throughout the entire body. Bone broth can be made at home, but I buy it at the Health Food Store and drink it once a week – not for arthritis but to ease any inflammation I may have, plus it has other health benefits too. You probably know all of this, but also drinking lots of clean water helps the mind and body – I drink 1 gallon (yes 1 gallon) of distilled water per day. In addition, I eat plenty of blueberries (since they are powerful antioxidants that work at the cellular level). Of course, I have raw/steamed veggies, healthy proteins, and healthy fats (nuts, seeds, avocados, olive oil, etc.) all of which help the brain & body in staying healthy. I have my Masters degree, but I think I have learned more from watching PBS!
(Only A Moment Ago . . .”It was spring and I was singin’ “) and then I lost several beautiful people in my life, and my world fell out from under me. I do not know who changed the rules of the game, but there were many times my heart no longer wanted to play. It was not until I changed my nutrition that I truly began to feel better. You unknowingly helped me too, and for that I am grateful. The least I can do is pass on the information that helped me so that it may help you, if ever need be. I have a Jimi Hendrix story about a really good program I watched on PBS. It was about his life & music, and I wonder if your rare, graphite neck was customized by Modulus. However, I do not want to bore you any further. A man can only take so much!!
Hope this finds you doing well!
Joanne – PA
P.S. I am not a total nerd! I do watch programs that are NOT on PBS, and if it matters, I was in a commercial before.
Looking forward to reading more answers to more of the questions you were asked!
Hope you are ok!
Joanne – PA
Dearest David,
Are you ok? Sure do hope so!
Joanne
