Dearest David.
You used to write us letters. They are on the website, the testimony of how you cared about us, your fans. You wrote about your plans, upcoming concerts, your concern when something happened like 9/11 or Katrina, about the importance of being respectful and kind to each other and how you were overwhelmed by our support and loyalty. Now we are writing letters to you.
The world has changed so much since you have gone. We’ve had to learn new terms like Covid and social distancing, and recently, we repeat in every language another word: ‘war’. Love and Peace meant a lot for you. You would have been devastated and tried to help.
It’s hard, but we’ve had to say goodbye to some people you worked with, who were your friends: The Partridge Family’s creator Bernard Slade, The Partridge Family’s producer and director Bob Claver and Hal Blaine, a legendary drummer who played on every Partridge Family’s track. Also, to fans like Danny Calvagna who loved playing your songs.
We are older now, and have old and new personal problems, but one thing has not changed – Our love for you and our pride of being your fans.
April 12th, 2022. – the next birthday without you. You would be 72 years old. This year, that day will be bitter-sweet. We are still so sad and it’s still so difficult to come to terms that you are not here, in this world. And sweet because of your Las Vegas Star. It’s our gift for you from all the fans, all over the world. It wasn’t easy, and we are very grateful for many wonderful people who worked so hard and made it happen.
For a few years in the 90s you were the biggest Las Vegas star, in the city which is called The Entertainment Capital of the World. The biggest American stars performed there, also artists important to you, like Bobby Darin and Frank Sinatra. You became one of them, a legend of Las Vegas. We think you would have been happy having a star there.
Finally, we thank you. You entertained us, helped us through difficult times, inspired musicians and you continue to affect our lives. We also thank you for the friendships from around the world that have developed because of you.

Thank you so much for such a wonderful and beautiful letter to David. I believe that he is with us in Spirit, just as God and all our departed loved ones are. Thank you so very much again also for such a wonderful website and blog for David, and for all of us, his fans. You are both doing a really wonderful job! I really miss the Good Old Days when David was on the cover of so many magazines. I really miss that, and I keep thanking God for you both to be so kind to do this website and blog. To me, it is like a bunch of David magazines all put together, and they keep growing! To me, it is a real treasure, and a real gift to us, his fans! I personally believe that David sees everything that you and everyone puts and says in there. I also believe that he will be at his Star Ceremony, his Triple Crown Ceremony, and every other ceremony for him. All that you have done and do for David really means a lot to him, I believe, and really means a lot to me, and so many other fans too. Thank you so very much again! God bless you both!

This is the most wonderful letter and reflects exactly how we all feel and think about David. He really never realised how much he was truly loved by so many people but if could only see now how many tributes have been created in his honour already and now the star in Las Vegas, he would surely now believe it. I think we all faal this way and I think David would o been concerned and upset about the wars going on. He is very much missed down here, and can’t believe he would of been 72 on the 12th! We miss you so much David!

This is a very touching letter, so many thanks for that dear Jane & Weronika. This site is an awesome job and it makes me feel like David is still around us. The pain of his loss continues. We will never get over it and he will always be in our hearts. I listen every day to his breathy voice and wonder where that exceptional human being has gone. Maybe you will find him in a dewdrop, in a grain of sand or in a star twinkle. He will always be loved and cherished by so many many people. He left us a huge treasure full of hope, love, warmth, light, trust and faith in so many ways. I wish he had had so much support, love and care in his life.
