The Town of West Orange, New Jersey has agreed to co-name Elm Street as “David Cassidy Way” where David lived at his grandparent’s home, during his childhood. This is in addition to the Historical Marker that is being placed at Colgate Field in West Orange, where David played Little League Baseball.
The unveiling with take place on Wednesday, July 30, 2025. More details about the celebration will be advised in the upcoming weeks.

I believe that having his talent and legacy recognised, honoured and remembered in New Orange would have meant more to him than any RRHOF nomination. He always spoke very fondly of his early years growing up there and I think he knew, and appreciated, that his grandparents loved him very much and that they had a very positive influence on him.
