Message from David – February 25, 2017

I’m overwhelmed with the loving, caring, supportive reaction to the fact I have the early stages of dementia. I want every single person who will ever read this, or hear this, to know that their love and care for me, and concern for me, means everything in the world.

I’ve chosen for 2017 to finish where I began, and where I was born, in the city of Manhattan, in New York, at BB Kings in just more than a few days. I intend to put the touring aspect of my life to rest.

I’m one of the more fortunate human beings, let alone actors, songwriters, singers, musicians, producers, creators in that I’ve had a lifetime of living my dreams. Without you all I would have very little. I am now a very, very, very heart-full rich man. No longer rich or wealthy but rich in spirit and heart and mind and love. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, and from the top of my head to my toes IOU a very significant debt for my happiness. Happy trails. I promise I won’t disappear.

I love you very much,
DC

A Note

Note from Harry Connick Jr sm

I want to thank Harry Connick, Jr. for being the wonderful, talented and caring man that he is. I received this personal note from him and couldn’t be more grateful for his love and support. I wish him the best of everything; he deserves it.

MESSAGE TO FANS – February 7, 2017

After reading the messages sent to him over the last few days, David sends this message to his fans:

I will always be eternally grateful for the love and support you’ve shown me. I still love very much to play and perform live. But it’s much more difficult for me now.

I’m not going to vanish or disappear forever. I’ll be able to communicate much more through my website and my Facebook page. As you can imagine this has been truthfully THE MOST DIFFICULT DECISION I HAVE EVER MADE IN MY ENTIRE LIFE.

I’m eternally grateful to each and every single one of you.

I’m going to play live, everywhere around North America, through 2017. I hope you will find a way to come and be part of my celebration!
