What a nice birthday treat for me, Jane. Nice collection of photos posted today. Thanks for all the hard work.
I must say, as the one year anniversary approaches, I still feel “off” like the robot from Lost in Space with that famous phrase —
Does not compute. I think that’s the way it is with people who are family or feel like family. You still sense that connection, even when they’re not physically on the planet.
Happy Birthday to you, Mary!!
And I agree… I feel David so close to me that can’t even describe it. He sometimes goes but always back and this is such a wonderful feeling 💝
Thank you very much Jane… You’re providing us with the ultimate treasure trove of memories and lovely surprises.
Happy Birthday to you, Mary. That does compute! x
Thank you Jane for this website. Everyday I found sth new , true David Cassidy legacy for us, his fans.
Find not found.
I just saw a tweet from CBS Home Entertainment that Season 4 of the Love Boat, during which David was a guest star, is available for preorder. Amazon will release on October 2.
Beautiful Person from within, we all know his looks caught our eyes, DAVID CASSIDY superb, unique, the most awesome, amazing, talent , and a singing voice you just could never stop listening to. What a incredible, experience being a David Cassidy fan, and what a joy to have loved all his perfected ,work in the entertainment industry.
What a great website this is! It pays tribute to
David Cassidy even 10 months after he is gone.
I guess what makes the pain of his death bearable
Is living with good memories of David. There
should not ever be anything negatively said about
this man. He was a great man! May he be happy
in his after life! I love the way so many dedicated
fans pay tribute to David! I have got to know so
many fans on this website. Plus when I went to
Saratoga Springs last May I got to meet a lot of
fans, who I am friends with on Facebook. Then
there is my very special friend, Denice Kirth who
I met on this website 2 years ago. We started off
as penpal, then graduated to phone calls. Then
we met in person in Saratoga Springs and have
become life time friends. Has anybody else
become friends on this website and have actually
met in person? I will never stop posting. I have
made some phenomenal friends on this website.
God bless everyone of you!
Glad things are looking up for you, Felicia.
If you do hear negative things about yourself or another; the important thing is not to panic. I don’t think human beings are perfect (in general) but they can have failings and still be inspiring and wonderful. David has stirred so much unconditional love in his fans – made even more remarkable for the depth and loyalty of that love; regardless of all else… Sian x
Thank you Jane, for all the hard work you put into this website ,and we as fan’s do appreciate it..a place we can all be together to remember David for his many talents.he had such an Amazing voice and brilliant actor.i would like to see him in the Rock and Roll Hall of fame.for 2019 ,I did write to them earlier this year ,let’s wait and see.
Hi Sian!
Nobody has said anything negative about
me. All I did was make a comment in my
last post , that I don’t ever want hear anything
negative about David. He has been gone for
10 months , and he deserves all the respect
in the world. His legacy lives on with this
web site. Us fans will always love him!
So I hope I made myself clear! I want to get
along with all David Cassidy fans. All we
got left is each other!
It’s all right, Felicia: A simple misunderstanding. I was talking generally. I should have worded it better. I just meant that a fan can see David has failings and still love him; still appreciate him; and still be in awe of his talent… Sian xxx
David Cassidy had no Falling’s related to his work ethics, he worked hard at each and every step of his long career in the entertainment business, and his voice never missed a beat, a final note he sang to us fans, is togetherness and here we all are, let’s celebrate David with love in our hearts, like the love David had for his fans, let’s read all the articles on the website, nice to talk to other fans, we have this opportunity to make David Cassidy legacy one to never forget, and for his legacy to carry on. Hi Sian, I was confused on your post, something about negativity, I miss David Cassidy forever, he was my favourite star, still feel hurt,at same time we all have made new friendships, and want a legacy remembrance for David Cassidy.
I worded my post badly. I write in a more formal way than most fans on the site. It just got taken the wrong way (understandably). Hope it’s sorted.
Thanks Sian for explaining, we all are so far apart in the world we live, but we all are together here, I have a special friend Felicia, we are fans of David that how the friendship started right here, so I am grateful that David had a website and Jane has done it all and is continuing adding more, back in the day it was impossible to see all David did, it still wonder how David Cassidy accomplished and achieved so much, you would almost need another lifetime, but David Cassidy did it all in his one lifetime. David Cassidy was a big part of the fans life, and we had so many reasons to love him, now that we are a little older, to say, we went to another level of why we love David, for his talent, and that should never be forgotten, and David Cassidy is entertainment history. Each fan is important to the legacy of David Cassidy, and Sian it been nice posting with you, now for awhile, Felicia so glad your foot is better each day, and thank you for helping me through my ordeal, after twenty three years, I had to move my horse, that went horribly wrong, and had to move him again, he’s home and getting so much love , Wilbur almost thirty, so after some rest, I’m going to see him today, and just hang out with my best buddy, thank you again Felicia for helping me. I love this website, and Arcelia, I agree with your post, I feel David is still close.
Hi Felicia, hope you are ok you were asking if we have made friends on this website.i have made 5 new friends on this site .Beverley Deb ,Jane ,Diane Weronika, we met in August in syon park ,and had a lovely time.we are meeting again in Nov 21 to remember David 1 year after he sadly passed away.we felt we would like to be together on this special day because we get on so well together we feel we have known each other for years..we are meeting at the Phoenix theatre ,then onto the Dominion theatre London.it takes a special kind of person to bring people together ,and he was truly special.
Love to Wulbur!!! Sian xxx
Or even Wilbur! x
Thank you Jane again for all your hard work. David is never far from my thoughts and always in my heart. His legacy will live on forever. Such a talented man. His talent will live on forever. I still miss him so much and I dont think that feeling will ever go away. Thank you again and love to all his fans.
Sheila xx
Sian, Thank you from the bottom of my heart for that post, I had Wilbur over twenty three years, and he had to move, I thought I did everything right for his new home, things went horribly, not Wilbur he did great, issues with the stable. I’m all about safety first, love for the horses, and proper care, got him moved, that was a nightmare, happy ending after nine days he loves his new home and everyone loves him. Saw him today, healing and was very happy. Thank you again. David Cassidy loved all horses, and did so much to protect them. Nice racehorses can have a retirement after there hard work.
Hi Denice !
I like your post. I want you and everybody to
know that I went to physical therapy today. I am
finally off crutches walking on my own 2 feet.
I took a walk today outdoors. I am sore tonight .
I can finally drive, it feels so good! I am getting
back to a normal routine . I fell and broke my foot
8 weeks ago. I got my cast off 3 weeks ago. I am
doing so much better ! I over did it today, i did
too much. So I am sore. I am going to rest for a
couple of days. Thank you to everybody who
supported me through out my recovery!
God bless every David Cassidy fan!
So glad you’re doing well, Felicia. I think you have nursing experience so presumably that helps you know not to push things and be patient…? Denice – I guess that Wilbur is well past being ridden? If you’re living quite a distance from him; that must hurt… Sian xx (…plus x for Danny Boy and x for Wilbur!)
Sian, I can see Wilbur as much as I want, for him I want him to be around other animals, so a nice farm with nice animals and nice people is important. Actually Wilbur likes to be ridden, I now have a indoor arena, and winter around here arrives right around Xmas. Lots of friends and family and me rode him throughout the years, say about the last four, he has not. He’s cute, funny and everyone at new place just adores him, and that’s what I want for him. For me I guess this started in fourth grade, I wrote a horse story and got a A+. Wilbur actually 28 or more, no-one believes it. I really saved his life in 1996. Makes me feel old, I love this website, and just miss David Cassidy so much, David was always working on something new, he never stopped all the joyable gifts he gave to us fans. And Sian thanks to you I am listening to David’s music. Thanks for asking about Wilbur. It was also extra exciting that David not only was in the entertainment world, he got involved in the horse racing world and had so much knowledge, and care for the horses, what a brilliant talented person he was and still took time to make other people’s lives matter.
Hi Felicia,
Congratulations on your friendship with Denise and making Saratoga Springs your special place.
As Claudette has responded in Post No.10 – Yes, we have made friends through this website and also our love & respect for David, and met up in Syon Park: Beverley, Claudette, Diane, (Jane who had other commitments on that day), Weronika and myself.
A wonderful day of friendship, laughter, tears and bonding. We “speak” to each other everyday, and are becoming firm friends – and all because of Beautiful David.
Thank you Webmaster Jane, for the amazing job you have done and continue to do, keeping David’s legacy alive.
I meant to say a BIG thank you to Beverley S, for orchestrating the way for us to communicate with each other, and for “joining the dots”.
I read David’s mother was the one who first got David interested in horses, because Evelyn rode herself and took David with her when he was very young. At a very young age, David was able to jump ponies and ride bareback. When David was about 14, a girl at the stables he went to, had a horse for sale, Danny Boy, a beautiful palomino. David wanted it, but his Mum wasn’t sure – due to how expensive it would be! However David asked and asked and asked, and realising how important it was to David, his Mum got him Danny Boy, saying it would have to be both his Christmas present and birthday present combined!
Thank you Claire, for that piece of information I didn’t know David’s mother rode horses and got David interested in them .so sweet that he wanted the horse so badly he kept asking ,and ended up with Xmas and birthday present combined .lm pleased David’s Ashes were scattered at Saratoga and his benches are there too. for now he is at peace where the horses are .
Claire, that’s lovely and no doubt he loved Danny Boy very much. I had to sell my pony when I divorced and it was like parting with a family member. She went to a great home though and achieved lots of things as she was a pony with many talents.
Glad you’re much better now Felicia. Love to everyone. David had a vibrant spark of humanity and it draws us to each other and to him. The love is almost tangible at times. So sad we feel the love and he didn’t seem to.
I believe that David could feel the fans’ love (he said as much in at least one interview) but he was (seemingly) inextricably enmeshed in his own personal problems. No doubt his emotions ebbed and flowed as they might do in any life and there may have been some very happy times for him…
Thank you Claire.
Evelyn also mentioned when David was three and a half. She was learning a script and David was playing in a sandbox in the back yard where Evelyn could watch him through a bay window. But when she looked out, David had gone! She was married to David’s dad, Jack at the time, and he and she both searched for him, unable to find him and in a panic. Then the local police station rang up to say they had a small boy with them called David Bruce Cassidy whose father was starring in a musical called ‘Wish You Were Here.’ It turned out David had left the back yard to see a small girl home, who lived some way away. Unfortunately, he was unable to find his way back home, but his parents had told him if he ever got lost and anyone approached, to ask them the way to
the local police station!
Can anyone please tell me when David was a “weather man”, as he appears to be, in one of the photos, above? He looks as though he’s having a hilarious time!
David went into the wrong studio by accident.
To Deb M. and Jane Weir, thank you for your well
wishes. I fell and broke my foot 9 weeks ago. I got
my cast off 4 weeks ago. I have been going to
physical therapy for 4 weeks. The point I am
trying to make is that I am making an amazing
recovery. I feel good and I feel loved. This web
site is awesome. You can be having a down day
and then go on the web site and find a kind
word from someone. I have been on this website
for 2 years. Thank you for every one who is
happy for my friendship with Denice. She is a
very special friend! I also have made so many
friends on this website. To everyone who
communicates with me thankyou for your kind
words. David Cassidy fans are the best! We are
good, caring , loving , dedicated , compassionate
human beings. To everyone on this website who
has touched my life, made God bless you!
And have a great week end! Happy trails!
Good Luck with the rest of your physiotherapy, Felicia. Sian xxx
Thank you Claire for your post no 21cute how he told the police he’s father was in musical wish you were here .He was proud of him .and how caring he was to see young girl home .
Finding out more about David’s early life through reading about Evelyn. Originally, David, from seventh year at school to year nine, wanted to be … a professional surfer! But a friend of Evelyns called Sal Mineo, introduced David to the drums and he practised assiduously. Soon, he was busy in rock ‘n’ roll bands or bands he’d set up himself. David’s next plan was to go to Florida with some of his band members and get work there – but Mum wasn’t keen on the idea! Luckily, Evelyn was appearing in, I think the musical ‘And so to bed.’ The director, Nelson Barcliff, auditioned David for a part singing, dancing and a dialogue scene with his mother and was extremely impressed. Of course, DC got the role. Evelyn could see her son was a star in the making. David’s part in the production was ‘show stopping’ and he got standing ovations for his singing and dancing.
I enjoyed his mother’s column too, although I am missing an installment because I can’t find the April 1971 16 magazine on the list.
Its interesting Evelyn says when David got lost as a three-and-a-half year old and was at the local police station, waiting to be picked up, he wanted to talk about his father, and the musical he was in! Obviously very proud of his dad at such a young age. Also interesting that David went though a stage when he wanted to be a professional surfer. In interviews David always said he knew he wanted to be an entertainer from an early age, after seeing his father perform, and nothing else. Possibly David forgot his brief ‘surfing’ period. But apparently David practised to the extent his usually brown hair was bleached blonde!
This web site has been quiet! Does anybody have
any kind of good news to report?
Hi Denice! I am so glad you had such a good
time on your bus trip. Saratoga Springs is only
7 months away. It should be exciting. I can’t wait.
This will be our second time meeting up in
Saratoga . You take care!
Six of us from England who met on this website have been corresponding everyday, sharing photos and stories about David and our personal lives. Most of us met in August at Syon Park and we are meeting in London on November 21st.
Although I have looked at David’s website many times over the years, I never posted any comments while he was alive.
We became friends as a kind of support group because David had died so although I am not glad he died, I am glad we six are friends and I have realised that wouldn’t have happened if David had still been alive.
Beverley, one is from Poland…
Oops 😂😂
Weronika -from Poland- has written a fantastic detailed biography of David (luckily for us she wrote it in English) which we are all reading and enjoying x
Beverley , thank you. Thank you for your friendship and your help. And everyday free English lessons.
Because everyday we talk about David Cassidy , his life , his music , this amazing legacy he has left for us , his fans.
It is true what my friend’s Beverley and weronika have said ,if it wasn’t for David we wouldn’t have found each other and become good friends .Weronika has written his biography, which is so well written as English is not her first language, I have it downloaded onto my tablet ,to read at my leisure. I think of David every day ,it’s because of him I am playing electric guitar ,having lessons ,learning David’s song Rickys tune ,I would like to learn Rock and Blues ,as David like this sort of music too.so good played on electric guitar.,so good his memory lives on ,he his missed so much .and not forgetting Jane Thank you for this website and all the work that goes into it .,we cannot Thank you enough.
Well, all I can add to this is that the six of us have become wonderful friends through the loss of Beautiful David Cassidy, and are an amazing support network for each other.
Wonderful advice, support and humour, but firstly our love for David. We talk about him EVERYDAY; share music and pictures.
I’m so glad I decided to post on this site. Like Beverley, I dipped in and read messages but was not brave enough to engage in the discussion, until David announced his retirement from performing due to ill-health.
I’m also so glad to meet up with a bunch of lovely ladies, who “understood” my love for someone whose spell I fell under when I was 12 years old. Others who also had walked the same path, so to speak.
I too thank Jane (Webmaster) for this amazing site. Wonderful things happen here, all for the love of DBC.
I liked your post Felicia, my bus trip to Letchworth state park in N.Y., was the most beautiful park I ever been to, and with so much early American history, thanks to Mr. Letchworth, the park is also called the grand canyon of the east. I had a very difficult fall, as in the season. I solved my bad problem and Wilbur is safe, and loving his new home. Healing takes time, and my one day get away has also helped. I miss David Cassidy and forever will. I myself got a late start posting here, for not being updated with life. When I did post was 2016, it was also the year I saw him last. My friendship with Felicia is very rich in many small ways, to meet her the first time, was so exciting, yet like we knew eachother so long. All along through the years of being a David Cassidy fan, us fans were a very large special group, and we didn’t know eachother very well, but we knew we all existed. David Cassidy would be overjoyed that people have come together, and real friendships are here to stay. I don’t know what’s planned for Saratoga,2019, in celebrating David Cassidy, just glad we had a star in our lifetime that meant so much. The first time, I heard his voice, could not wait hear him sing more. His voice, put you somewhere happy, and safe at the sametime. David Cassidy represented a lifetime of achievements, that will follow in honoring his legacy.
Hi Everyone,
So pleased to hear you’re doing well Felicia and good friends with Denice. Good news too that Wilbur is enjoying the retirement he deserves. Hope everything going as well as possible with your castle Sian? And Claire, thank you for sharing what you learn about David with us As the anniversary of David’s sad passing draws closer, I hope we can all gain strength and comfort from our friendships with each other. David inspires so much love. I have made lovely friends through this amazing site. Thank you Jane for your hard work. Beverley has kindly helped me catch up with David’s later career by sending his music to me. I play it everyday in my car on my journey to work. Am looking forward to meeting friends to share 21st November with. We will remember David at the Phoenix Theatre. Love to all David’s true, compassionate and caring fans. X
Portcullis still needs a bit of work, but thanks for asking… Sian
Just wanted to let everyone know that Timm McCoy is doing a live radio show tomorrow, Sat, 10/13 featuring David’s music at 1 pm E/12pmC/10am W/6 pm GMT. Go to http://www.timmmccoy.com, then click on Dementia Radio on the left. Tim also said he’ll be taking requests and playing rare cuts! Wow, what a treat for all of us, I know I’m looking forward to it. Make sure you tune in tomorrow, thanks Timm!
Judy many thanks! Unfortunately I missed it but was pleased to hear Johnnie Walker on BBC radio2 play a DC track today. I’ve never heard him play any before even tho its a 70s programme. I hope everyone sends him requests for the anniversary in November. I do wish they would show some imagination and play his less well known but equally amazing work. Surely Common Thief or Fix of your love would be a real eye opener for non fans..who are into heavier stuff…maybe even make them think again!!
I can dream…
Hi everyone… I have been a bit “lost” lately… but I have never forgotten our beautiful man and any of my lovely friends on here.
Two Sundays ago, I met, by the chance, my friend Monique. She and I shared a lot of wonderful times seeing David in concert and being room mates from 2007 to 2011. We hugged each other and cried and laughed and remembered David and… It was beautiful, she has been the one and only fan I have met since David left us so it was a very emotional moment.
I am still a bit busy with my moving and we have also had a Fair in my hometown the last week. I tried but, you can believe or not, I didn´t enjoy like I did other years. I thought someone very special I love so much won´t be on this Eart anymore and that made me feel sad. I think that everyone need their time to heal and mine still have not come. It´s still very hard for me to think that next month it will be a year since our lovely man left us… My head still can´t accept it and less my heart 🙁 I miss you so much, my sweetie. I miss you every day…. I do hopethat wherever you are you can find the peace you were looking for and never found. Love you always ♥
Araceli – love, balloons, & many white feathers… Sian x
Hi Everyone
Missing David everyday and can’t believe that it is a year next month since he left us.
Last Friday 12th October Tony Prince on United Djs Radio was on for 4 hours as Mike Read that normally does the Breakfast Show was going to a Status Quo convention and then Tony did he own 2 hour show. Anyway, Tony Prince was playing the whole of The Beatles White Album as it is 50 years this month since the albums release. One of the tracks on this album is “Blackbird”, which Tony played, well i decided to send a text to him asking him if had heard David’s version of “Blackbird” on David’s Touch of Blue CD. Tony said on the show that he had and thought it is good version. but didn’t have it digital form, but on album at home, but he would try and sort that out. As h
tony didn’t have that track in digital form then he played “Daydreamer” for all David’s fans. Let’s hope he is able to get the Touch of Blue album in a digital form, os that us fans can hear it, but especially that all the rest of the listeners can hear it and be suprised and as Judy has said above it would be an eye opener for non fans and make them think again.
David’s version of “Blackbird ” is just amazing. He made this song his own.
Doreen, what about meeting with us on November21?It would be great to meet in person and listen to your stories seeing David in concerts and just talk about him..
Yes, i could meet up with you on November 21st, it might make the day a bit easier, but i doubt it. Where are you meeting?
I love David’s version of “Blackbird”, to be honest i love all the tracks on th “Touch of Blue” CD. I hope that Tony Prince does manage to get that track and play it or maybe the whole CD and then would be able to play any of them anytime, fingers crossed.
Doreen , it would be so nice to meet you and yes it might make the day easier. We are meeting outside the Phoenix Theatre around 12 . Only one person is from London so rest of us have to travel a little bit.
Weronika.

I want to complement this website. I have never
seen such dedication from fans. Nobody can let
go of David, his memory lives on in this web site!
Everybody shares from their heart! So many
friendships have been made on this website.
Hi Denice! Every time you post you have so
much to say. You are so fortunate to have gotten
the opportunity to meet David Cassidy in person
when he was alive, and you were so lucky to
be able to talk to him. I am so glad we are
friends! Everybody wants to belong!
Hi Felicia, I just read your post, yes I was fortunate to meet David many times and talk to him, he inspired my life during troubled times, before I met him, meeting David gave a whole new meaning to David, Icon David Cassidy took the time to met me and talk and take pics, not once but four different times. The man had a heart, cared about people. And when it comes to David CASSIDY we are all here together, we are celebrating his life, but there is a new meaning, he spread love and light into our lives, and friendships are building, and I have a great friend and that is you Felicia, and you have a caring heart, so David not only rocked our world, he left us a example, and this website is all about David and his fans. So, so happy to be here with you all. Still saddens me, that David had to leave, I trust in God he is happy and at peace. I hope his legacy will become a long trail of happy trails everywhere, we the fans did alot to honor his legacy, and we just begun. Felicia, I treasure our friendship, and so happy your on the up hill of healing.
Hi Arcelia, I read your post, so happy you saw your friend, I can relate to your post, still difficult, I think missing David will always be, what would David want for everyone, happiness. This Nov, I going to celebrate David’s life and remember his talented achievements, and hope my tears don’t get in the way.
Hi Denice…. Thank you for your lovely words… But I think it would be difficult to keep your tears in… Gosh, I still can´t believe it!! 🙁
Hi Araceli, I’m glad you met your friend who was also a fan of David and your words resonate with me. I also am still finding it hard to accept that David has gone, I will find November 21 hard. The good thing is the love and light that he has spread to his many fans throughout the world and his legacy will never be forgotten.

I feel so sad… It is like re-living last Autumn. Yesterday, I lost a lovely friend, also fan of David. We had ever met each other but we talked by phone and sent beautiful messages by WhatsApp and shared many tears when David left us 😔😢😢😢😢
She was so ill and her one and only wish was to be reunited with David. I am sure he warmed her and she is enjoying him now. God Bless you, my lovely friend… I will miss you… the both of you 💝
Hi Araceli
Sorry to hear you have lost a good friend x
Many hugs, Araceli… Sian x
Recently saw David’s acting in Bonzana and Mod Squad and later, Man Undercover. I am impressed with David’s acting ability, he was so natural and made any part he played seem real. I wish he had more opportunities in his life to explore his considerable acting talent. Also – someone wrote on another site that they weren’t sure David was a friend of John Lennon as they hadn’t seen any pictures of the two of them together. I have seen photos of David with John. Their friendship is also documented in a new biography about John called ‘Being John Lennon.’
Dear Arcelia, sorry to hear about your friend. I’m sure she was happy to be your friend, and you helped make her life happy. I’m sending you this message with care and a hug.
Hi Weronika
I will be coming on 21st November to meet you and the others. I am hoping that this will make that day easier, but i have my doubts about that. I feel that i have to do something positive that day.
I understand Doreen..I listen to his music everyday…wrote a book about David Cassidy ,it was a kind of therapy….We will be happy to see you..
Weronika.
Dear Arcelia,
My condolences! I am so sorry your friend
past away. You know you have a lot of friends
on this website who care about you and love you.
We will get you through this hard time. May you
have less sadness each day! Take care. God bless!
Araceli, My sympathy to you for the loss of your friend. I’m sure she would have been welcomed by David, as she wished. I’m thinking of you and I hope my and the messages from others on this website are a comfort to you.

To answer your question, I do not (and never will) have any tattoos.
Oh my, I posted a comment to the wrong website. Please ignore the former comment. Thank you. I still miss David Rock Star Cassidy!
This website is incredible. So many great things, and it is so easy to navigate. Thanks to the Web Team!

Dear Araceli,

Thank you to all of you, you are lovely friends too.
Patricia was a devoted fan of David. She run a Mexican Facebook group for David and made beautiful graphics and poems for him.
I will miss talking to her about our beautiful man 🙁
I’m so sorry for your loss of your friend.
Doreen
Araceli – did you mean Patricia Flores? I remember after David died she decided to end her David facebook group. I thanked her for all her hard work and she responded very kindly.
Yes, her name was Patricia Flores… She was lovely.
I miss my David so much… I made this as next 21, it will be 11 months he left us 🙁
Beautiful Araceli, exactly how I feel about David too. Miss him so much, can’t believe 11 months already.

day by day.
love in my heart,
for you,
filled my life
all day through,
sing me plays,
remembering the good ole days,
your voice in the lonely room,
sing me plays.
Hi Doreen
It will be nice to meet you on 21st November. I look forward to hearing about the times you saw David.
Hi Beverley
I’m looking forward to meeting you and the others in the group too and hearing their memories of seeing David too.
Araceli I just loved your video! It was so
comforting! You are a very special human being!
Thank you for all your lovely post! I can tell you
really love David! You take care! God bless!
Looking at old episodes of the Partridge Family, and David was so good in the part, despite feeling hemmed in by it. But we would expect David to be an excellent actor. Danny is a revelation – he is so natural in the part, and was only about 12!
Yes, David was amazing , always a great big brother for Danny on and off screen..to the end…
Thank you Jane for posting these pictures. My heart still aches for our beloved David. Nearly a year since his passing and it still hurts. He is a legend and brought so much happiness to millions of people. He will always be with us. Love to all his fans.
Sheila x
I have e-mailed UK’s Radio 2 (Sunday Evening) Paul O’Grady Show requesting 3 tracks from “A TOUCH OF BLUE”, close to David’s one year anniversary so it might be worth listening on Sunday 18th November 2018 or Sunday 25th November 2018 in case I’m lucky with my request. Paul does a 3 track request spot each week. Sian
I miss hearing from you, David!! I miss your messages, I miss your laugh, I miss seeing you in concert, I miss you so much… I knew it was going to be hard but… Gosh, this is so difficult to deal with!! I feel so sad… I can´t find comfort in anything. Weather either help at this time of the year…. Oh God, how I wish you were still here!!! 🙁
i miss david`s messages, but david is with us in spirit, your video is lovely as always araceli.
We’re coming up on a year since the world lost David Cassidy. I have been watching several YouTube videos that David is in, that feature him from the 70’s to the present. It’s not just his music and his talent as an actor that make me smile. It’s his incredible, boyish good looks, his smile, his sexy voice, and his adorable laugh. Nobody had a laugh like David Cassidy! He put his all into that laugh of his! I think that was why it was so infectious, and such a David Cassidy trademark.
This upcoming Thanksgiving and Christmas will be bittersweet. It will be the second one since David Cassidy died, and the first one since my Dad died. For those of you who also recently lost loved ones, my heart goes out to you. I hope and pray that your sadness will soon ease. I also hope and pray that the days to come will be better days for everybody who loves and misses David Cassidy. I’m comforted knowing that his soul and my Dad’s soul are in Heaven, and that both of them are at peace. I miss them terribly, but I know they both are in a better place.
Great post Kelly, thank you. I live in the other part of the world but feel the same.
Yes, I’m also comforted that he is now at peace like all our loved ones who are not among us anymore.
His music , his songs are with me , accompany me in everyday life. Some make me smile and happy , some make me sad and even cry. It’s like in those words from “I Write The Songs” – “I have my own room in your soul”. Yes , he has.

Warsaw. Poland.
Watching David in ‘Man Undercover’ and wonderful to see David acting in a more mature role – David seemed to easily fit any role he played. Apart from his amazing singing voice and musician-ship, DC was an extremely talented and versatile actor!
And thinking of something Kim Carnes said about David’s early popstar career – She was amazed David could instantly appear as a fully-fledged popstar able to entertain huge stadiums having never done anything of the sort before. This was due to DC’s natural, God-given talents!
For us Christian people, today and tomorrow are very special days. We remember our loved ones we lost. I am always thinking of you but especially today I am praying for you to be in God´s loving arms and happy in Heaven… But it´s extremally hard to think I won´t ever see you again. I miss you, my sweetie 🙁
Claire, I agree with your post, but YES, David Cassidy was selling out stadiums, his concerts , his voice, his outfits, the whole David Cassidy concert sellout, was incredible, that he just rolled right into like a rock roll star. The high energy, excitement, the music, to me and so many, pop star does not go with David Cassidy. David Cassidy rocked. The song Rock me Baby, shows the rock star in David Cassidy. I love his performance singing that song. David could turn his music up, or down, his voice was so, so, so, amazing and I miss him, Arcelia, thank you for your post, David is in heaven, singing with all the angels.
Denice I liked your post. So well spoken!
Hi Kelly, I liked your post. I could relate to what
you said. Your dad’s anniversary of his death
coming up. That is painful. My mother’s anniversary
of her death is coming up next month, December
17th to be exact. Then we all are still in mourning
of the death of David Cassidy. His anniversary is
coming up November 21. I am thankful every day
when I get up that I am healthy and stable!
Life is too short! It is to be embraced and enjoyed!
I learnt a lot from the life and death of David
Cassidy! He had his problems, he basically
was a good guy! Buy David did not get help
with his addiction to alcohol. The alcohol
destroyed his body and took his life. I don’t
drink any alcohol . Life is too precious to
waste on drugs and alcohol!
You were very brave, Felicia; with so much grieving in a short space of time (and then the accident with falling). I hope that everything is looking up for you. Sian x
Coming up to David’s death last year – I will concentrate my thoughts on Beau, David often said he was the ‘the love of his life’ and was obviously very proud of his son! Beau was only 26 when his father died, but I am thankful the two were together in the end. I know David tried really hard to be the perfect father. From pictures it is clear he really loved his son!
Felicia and Claire, I like what you both just posted. David would be happy to know the fans care about Beau. Let’s include Katie to.
Katie is very talented and hard-working and I think David was reconciled with Katie too before he died. If not, she has recently only said lovely things about her father.
David Cassidy: The Last Sessions-BBC4, Friday, 23rd November , 21.00
Thank you for informing us about the programme
John. I feel i need to watch it but i know it will be
Very emotional for me.I stiil miss David so much and still cry listening to his beautiful voice and watching his dvds and videos.Nearly 1 year has passed and it still hurts. My thoughts go out to his family and to all Davids fans on this website.
It is nice to hear from you, again, John. Thank you for being so thoughtful. Sian
‘If your Sweetheart …x
Thank you John for letting us know about the documentary Last Sessions ,it gives fans a chance to watch it ,if they feel they want to. It is nearly a year since David passed away my thoughts are also with David and his family and fans ,but I shall put a special post on this website nearer the time .to mark 21st November .
Hi Everyone,
You may wish to get hold of a copy of the December issue of Record Collector magazine, there is an article on David in this issue,
Pleased that at last we get to see The Last Session, but dreading it at the same time as it will be very hard to watch, but i have to watch, loads of tissues ready.
A UK journalist, Louise Poynton, is writing a book about David and wants to fill it with anecdotes and tributes from David’s fans around the world. She says her book will be a beautiful anthology, and would like to hear from any of David’s fans who want to share their memories of David; when they met him, or anything else about being a fan of David’s which she might want to include in her book. She can be contacted by email – Louisepoynton@outlook.com. Not sure if Jane knows about it, yet, hope its okay to mention?
Thanks Claire… I have already sent to her my memories meeting David.
Hi Araceli,I met Louise and shared a taxi with her to the theatre in London, for the unveiling of the plaque……she is a lovely lady and only has best intentions for her book…..
Hi Yvonne, I have ever met her but we have been lovely friends on Facebook for some years now and I know she has the best intentions for the book.
I wish her good luck and hope everyone can share their feelings about David.
I was named after an older relative (who lives nearby) because we share the same birthday – same month & day but obviously a different year. So, our information (age, phone number, address, etc.) very often gets crossed and all mixed up. My phone number has a 610 area code not 215. Used 215 number for facebook (which, by choice, has been deactivated for quite some time) due to a negative relationship with a man who became very jealous & possessive. I am so thankful that relationship has long since ended. It is not as if he was David Bruce Cassidy!
Cannot believe 11/21 is almost here:
Dearest David Rock Star Cassidy,
One year – Still Wish You Were Here, Wish You Were Here
Please be there, Please be there
I love you, I love you, always I will love you!

Beverley and all friends meeting up; have a beautiful time. I know it will be sad but David would surely have said “Get happy”… xxxxxxx
Sian, thank you. Yes, we think the same.David would have wanted us to be happy and to remember this joy and happiness, his music, his smile…But of course it will be a sad day. Wish you were with us xxx
Thanks Sian, I hope things are going well for you. X
Johnny Walker has just played “How Can I Be Sure?” on BBC Radio 2 and he’s going to play another DC track before 5pm.
Sian xxx
Always nice to hear David on the radio. What other track did he play?
“Could It Be Forever?” Beverley.
However, Gordon Swindlehurst really appreciates David Cassidy’s later music and is planning to play three on 21st Nov. 2018 on BBC RADIO CUMBRIA 12 NOON GMT onwards! I asked for “Mother And Child Reunion” Paul Simon cover… Sian xxx
Thanks Sian, I will be meeting those going for the 1st time, was unable to go before, you are right it will be sad, but David would want us all to be happy x
Doreen , Im so happy we are going to meet on this special day. Nothing has changed ,so 12.00 noon the Phoenix Theatre.

I’m flying to Luton on Wed. early morning. The same airport as David Cassidy more than 45 years ago..Is it possible it was so many years ago ? “Dreams Are Nuthin” More Than Wishes” – October 1973 (Number 1 in the UK) . All those songs so fresh , so great to listen to..How I regret that I was lazy and did not come to his concert when it was possible.
Wednesday will be very hard..
Hi
I live in the UK and I have just watch a programme named the last session about David’s life and it was showing you him two months before he passed away and it upset me big time as I never knew he was in so much pain and that his health was getting worse as I saw him 3 times in 2011 in concert once here in London and twice in Las Vegas and I can’t understand why he was always known as teen idol as I have been a fan since 1970 and his voice is what made me a fan of his and always think he deserved better. It was horrible watching David suffer so much before he died and he looked so ill. I wanted to thank his band for all the support you gave David over the years and for taking him to the hospital and generally looking after him in his last few days.
I am sure David is up there in Heaven singing away and the only good thing is now he is free from pain and I am sure his mother is looking after him up in heaven.
I kept thinking he hasn’t passed away perhaps I was not wanting to face it but after watching that programme I now believe it and it has really brought it home how much I miss him.
Happy Birthday in Heaven!!
Dearest David Rock Star Cassidy,
If you were still here in your beautiful human form, I would wish you an oh so very Happy Birthday! I love you, I love you, always I will love you!
Joanne – PA
I am so happy that there will be a Second Annual Celebration of David’s Life in May!
Lovely to read the beautiful posts, warmed by all the heartfelt love for David . Wishing everyone a beautiful summer.
REST IN ETERNAL PEACE, DAVID.

Dear Araceli,
I’m so sorry for the loss of your friend. We are sending love and prayers to you.
God bless,
Debbie

You must be wonderful to have around at Christmas time, Araceli… David’s so many good things in your life – and he’s still there… Sweet dreams. Sian xxxxxxx
Awwwwwe, you are so sweet, my dear friend. Big hugs 😘😘
Arcelia, your video for David Cassidy was Beautifully, Beautiful. The meaning of the words, really were felt, how deep the love will always be for David Cassidy. And I felt and saw David Cassidy smile from heaven. Bless you dear, for making that for him, and sharing with us your friends.
11months today, my sweetie… I miss you… The sky is crying for you today here… Sleep tight, my angel 💝
Hi Araceli, thank you for posting your video in remembrance of David, it’s so touching,

Araceli, so sorry about your friend. I know your friendship will have given her much joy and comfort. Especially sharing David’s love and memories. X
a light has gone out,
when you went away,
missing you
day by day.
love in my heart,

all day through,
sing me plays,
remembering the good ole days,
your voice in the lonely room,

Joanne – Swarthmore, PA
Beverley and all friends meeting up; have a beautiful time. I know it will be sad but David would surely have said “Get happy”… xxxxxxx
Sian, thank you. Yes, we think the same.David would have wanted us to be happy and to remember this joy and happiness, his music, his smile…But of course it will be a sad day. Wish you were with us xxx
Thanks Sian, I hope things are going well for you. X
I’m getting there, slowly, Beverley – I’m getting there. Thank you.
