We will always remember David and he will always be missed .I wish David knew how much joy he brought into my life with his music which I love to listen to everyday. David has found me some lovely friends on this website and we keep in contact every single day ,truly speaking I would be lost without them .I think of David as I practice my guitar everyday ,and try and do my best as David always did give 100 per cent .he had so many talents .great performer there are not many people out there who can be a singer ,actor ,songwriter guitarist drummer .we have lost the best thankyou David for being part of my life .love always

I watched David in the Russell Harty Show 1976, and at the end of the interview, he sings, the song, Than I’ll be someone, he sure was someone, the one and only David Cassidy. The interview he gave, I never saw before, David was 26, so mature and honest, and gave alot input of what his world was like than.

I also watched the Russell Harty interview and David’s performance, that’s one of my favorite songs, David did such a passionate performance, I wish that song had been released, it’s very good and really showcases David’s talent. I can see why he was so frustrated playing Keith, he could do so much more, whether it be acting, singing, or playing instruments.
Hi Judy, I liked that song alot, thanks for explaining, I thought that song was never released, and the interview, just David Cassidy beening who he really was, also one of my favorite interviews. David was so professional and personal in all his interviews. From such a young age. I think we all knew the difference from Keith, and we knew at our young ages Keith was David Cassidy. We followed David Cassidy from the start, he truly left us to soon, he gave us gifts we cherish. His voice and singing, is one of the special gifts.
Thanks for this update from German tv, I’ve only known pics..Yes, he was very professional and personal in his interviews, trying to be understood, and always said such nice words about fans..It was a real love , David and his fans..from the beginning. And his smile..Can you believe it that on 27th July 45 years ago “Please , Please Me” was at nr 16 on the UK Charts. 45 years but it was only a moment ago…
Soon Im going to London (August), Im working on a tour guide “David Cassidy in London” , I want to take some pics , see the bench (Hammersmith Park) and meet with my English friends, DC’s fans.

Hi Richard, I’m your neighbor, in Ohio, I have been a fan of David Cassidy since 1972, his singing , his voice, that style , my favorite star than and always. I was so lucky to met him, in the early eighties and years after that from time to time. I could see the show biz star quality that made David Cassidy a star, I also was able to see his talent and hard work in front of me in four stage performances in theatre. And I also got to talk to one of the kindness star ever, that was David Cassidy. hi everyone……..49 summers ago ,1970 the teen tv magazines tv guide were all building up the new show and its new teen king on the rise david bruce cassidy who would be the new face of 1970……the show would be a hit by october and by december david would be pictured on every 16,tiger beat tiger beat spectacular flip fave 16spec teen world,etc bumping over bobby sherman the popout posters were becoming more david plus front back cover pinups and the rest is history……stay cool……im looking forward for september to see new cnn special on what happened to david cassidy and the 4 cd boxset the bell years……he is and wont be fogotten…….

Been to London last week just for 4 days, met with my English friends and also (pure coincidence) with Sharron and Pauline of the DC Group of GB, they are doing a lot for remembering David Cassidy, fantastic ladies. And the Phoenix Theatre and the Phoenix Garden (Charring Cross Rd) are special places for fans , memorial plaque commemorating David Cassidy in Blood Brothers and the plaque “Dreams , Wishes and Happy Trails” at the Phoenix garden, this is just a magical , dreamy place..Amazing. Such a fantastic garden a real Secret Garden in the middle of London…Just a place to remember him…
But for me the most moving was a walk to Hertford Street, the Radio Luxembourg’s studios were there at nr 38 and famous David Cassidy’s pics were taken (on the balcony) For me, in the 70s Radio L. was a window to the free world. When I was there last Friday the street was empty, I was alone…. and ..the building is just the same..only no one is on the balcony..

A very special lady, she is my favorite actress, got a beautiful singing voice, and one of the best actress s,who is beautiful inside and out, the Cassidy family , not only had the talent, they had care for the fans, that does not happen, so it truly meant alot to me to get to met and talk to David, and I’ll never forget meeting Shirley Jones with my mother. Hi Richard, was such a joy to read your post, I’m happy to hear Shirley Jones is attending events, and with Johnny Ray Miller, I met Johnny, once when I got his book and attended the event. I learned so much from that event, Johnny Ray Miller did so much research on the Partridge Family music, and David Cassidy worked very hard,to make the music, I don’t want to tell anymore, I think the book is a must have for all fans, and Shirley Jones was all in, when Johnny Ray reached out to her, and I just learned more from Johnny Ray Miller when he spoke this past May at the celebration of life event in David’s honor, he is so interesting, and I’m so glad that he took his idea, wrote the book, and he was a fan to, The Partridge Family was a special show, which lead to so much and why we are here today. And the whole cast, we just loved. Now we have the memories, yes Shirley Jones is one of the greatest actress and her history in the business is a remarkable story, and I’m happy she’s doing appearances, and David Cassidy Music is bringing New fans, he was a singer that offered the world a sound that you just wanted to hear more of, and to have his music of non released songs, released, wow, every song he sang is so important to a David Cassidy fan. Hi Richard, yes I consider you a friend, I agree with everything in your last post, you just never know what life is meant to be, and yes Shirley and David, cast together, and the show was a super success and so much more, I really think during that time it just worked , one reason both Shirley and David were naturals and both acted very well together, that we the fans watching just took it for granted, and they were working hard,to bring that to our t.v. s on Friday evenings. And than there talent in music and vocals together, a success , joy to our world. The good memories must last, and just posting with you Richard and knowing your a true fan of Shirley and David, brought back some really good memories for me, I wish Shirley Jones happiness, wellness and hope she is enjoying her life, she deserves the best. I will never forget her kindness and taking the time to talk to me and my mom. She posed for pics with us, she was beautiful, and I enjoyed her show, I felt very lucky to met her, and David, many times and Danny one time. I grew up a shy person to say, but I just felt I needed to get out of my shell, and try to met them. And the last 5 minutes, wow, what a great sense of humor , David Cassidy was so smart and intelligent And his radio interviews during all those years are just amazing, very often more interesting than tv ones, they let him speak, and usually those were people who appreciated David Cassidy’s talent and geniuely liked him. Two great radio conversations with David Hamilton from 1972 and 2003, especially the last one , one of the best Ive ever heard. Because I’m writing a tour guide “David Cassidy in London” I gathered my courage and sent an email to David Hamilton. He is 80 but still so active,very busy. but he found time to answer me , that was so nice and so moving..

ALSO HERE AGAIN I DO NOT THINK ANY OF THE FAMILY OF DAVDS PARTICIPATED IN THIS SHOW…..IM GOING TO WATCH WITH AN OPEN MIND IM SAD AND A LITTLE CURIOUS WHAT THIS IS GOING TO BE SINCE MANY SHOWS OF THIS TYPE ARE OF SCANDALS THE DOWN SIDE OF FAME FORTUNE AND SELF DESTRUCTIVE EVEN VERY BAD SITUATIONS IN THE LIVES OF FAMOUS PEOPLE.WE AS FANS FOR THE MOST PART STILL HAVE GRIEF AND ARE TRYING TO HEAL SO WILL SEE HOW MUCH THIS SHOW WILL DO TO THE MEMORY AND CAREER OF OUR BELOVED DAVID…

HI WERONIKA AND ALL MY CASSIDY FRIENDS AND FANS…..HOPE YOU ARE ALL DOING WELL…..I WATCHED THE HILL HARPER HLN WHAT REALLY HAPPENED DOCUMENTARY THIS PAST SUNDAY NIGHT AND I MUST SAY I GOT THROUGH THE WHOLE HOUR A BIT SAD BUT IT WAS A FAIR ASSESMENT OF DAVIDS LIFE CAREER HIS RELATIONSHIP WITH HIS FATHER SOME REALLY GREAT CONCERT AND BEHIND THE SCENES PHOTAGE AT SHOWS AND ON PF AND DEALING WITH ALL THE UPS AND DOWNS OF BEING THIS BIGGER THAN LIFE PERFORMER,TEEN IDOL, ACTOR AND THE HOTTEST SOUGHT AFTER BEAUTIFUL PERSON SO MANY PEOPLE WANTED AND ENJOYED TO BE NEAR….ALOT GREAT MEMORIES SHARED BY KIM CARNES,HER HUSBAND, HENRY DILTZ WHO TRAVELED AND SAW FIRST HAND THE PRIVATE SIDE OF DAVID GOOD AND BAD WHEN HENRY WASN,T,PHOTOGRAPHING HIM.ALOT OF THIS SHOW ALSO DEALT WITH DAVIDS STRUGGLES AND INNER DEMONS OF YEARS OF DRINKING,3 DIVORCES,FAMILY LIFE,AND SO ON. TO ME THIS WAS THE GOOD THE BAD AND THE UGLY SIDE OF FAME,AND OF A MAN WHO NEVER FELT GOOD ENOUGH AND JUST WANTED TO BE LOVED AND BE THE BEST HE COULD BE…..NON OF THE FAMILY MEMBERS PARTICIPATED ON THIS SHOW…..IT IS STILL SAD AND PAINFUL IM SURE FOR THE FAMILY,FRIENDS AND FANS ALL OVER THAT DAVID IS GONE…..DANNY BONADUCE WAS INTERVIWED SEVERAL TIMES THROUGH OUT THIS DOCUMENTARY…..AGAIN IT WAS OK I BELIEVE IT TO BE BETTER THAN THE A& E LAST SESSION.BUT THAT IS MY OPPINION….
Hi Richard and Weronika, this is the first I heard about this show, I don’t have cable, please post and let me and the other fans how it goes, David Cassidy was a great entertainer, and so much more which is established, if Danny in it, could be a outcome of David’s talents, and the true friendship they had. And Richard, hope all is going good for you, summer went to fast for me, and I had a busy one, David Cassidy legacy is important to all us fans, that’s why we put our thoughts and care into what is said about David. The truth , David wanted told, he was honest with us fans, and he didn’t have to share his personal life with us, but he did, even from the beginning, and us fans only want to protect and grow his legacy.

And The Phoenix Theatre (Charing Cross Rd) is a place every fan should start that walk through the streets of London following David Cassidy’s footsteps. Memorial Plaque Phoenix Theatre commemorating his performances in “Blood Brothers” and the other one at The Phoenix Garden -“Dreams, Wishes And Happy Trails”. Next to them there is this amazing church -St Giles -in-the -Fields , it has a fine acoustic and is often used for concerts and recitals , and last year on November 21st a memorial book was laid out there . The Dominion Theatre where David Cassidy performed in “Time” is just 5 minutes away..Many, many places , concert halls , tv studios and radio stations , parks, clubs , recording studios , hotels.. some of them are not exist anymore , but when I’m in London , I feel his presence..
Hello to all, I’ve been reading the postings since before the dedication in Saratoga.. I was there, saw many people. Had a long drive home, told my husband that he had to see the memorial garden and benches, we went back in July. I was wondering around near the track knowing his ashes were there somewhere. His spirit is definitely there. By the way Richard from Lebanon, PA, I live about 15 or so miles away. I collect all kinds of memorabilia, but one of my favs is the original complete Rolling Stones mag (which is more like a newspaper). I also have his books and one is signed by DC. I treasure all things David. When he was touring in the later years he actually performed at the Sch Co fair in Summitt Station which is 3 miles from where I grew up and watched him on the Partridge Family. Regards to all, Kerry

I am not sure if I would like to see this documentary. I am still very sad about David leaving us. The A&E was so hard to watch, I don´t want to see David suffering again. I have read good and bad comments about it. So I really don´t know what to do. Maybe in a future but I think I couldn´t do it now.

But I had no interest, we all know what happened, to David , but there was alot of happiness in David’s life, and his outstanding career, I like to a show made in regards to all the good, from his smile, to his looks and David Cassidy style, and his remarkable singing voice,, and the talent he had in writing music and producing, and all his theatre shows, he did alot of shows alot to talk about there alone, his great children, to his whole wonderful family, from all the good he did for charity’s,, David Cassidy work ethics are A+++++++++++, with ton more plus,s.

You are so right Denice, those new doc. about David Cassidy just make me angry. Sure they show a lot of great pics, tell how huge he was but it’s just to demonstrate that he had everything but was so unhappy and lost everything at the end..But we know it’s not a whole truth. He had an amazing career after 1974. Great RCA’s albums , but also every other one , from every decade. Fantastic songs : “It’s Over” , “Tell Me True” , “One True Love” and many more about mature, sometimes lost love , as Timm M. said “David Cassidy knew what he was singing about” I’m divorced and I know that is true and his songs helped me to get through those hard and painful years. And his charity work , that’s a whole , great story , he started in the 70s and at that time charity work wasn’t so popular among celebrities then as it is now. How busy he was in the 70s but always found time and did it with pleasure and its something so worth remembering. He was the first Young Chairman of the Special Olympic , and it was not only for a publicity, for 2 days in 1973 (July 20-21) he was in the audience and gave prizes. And Keep Britain Tidy and many, many more.
Thank you Weronika,just learned so much more from your post and Richard’s, all the good David Cassidy did in his lifetime, and All he gave and did, there is no room for the downfalls, every single person in life comes to a downfall.
