David Cassidy Tribute Concert – August 14, 2018

NOTE CHANGE OF VENUE

The David Cassidy Tribute Concert has moved to Putnam Place (instead of the Horseshoe Inn) in Saratoga Springs. The Horseshoe Inn is an outdoor venue and with the forecast of thunderstorms, there was a risk the concert was not going to happen.

New venue:
Putnam Place
63a Putnam Street
Saratoga Springs, NY 12866

The David Cassidy Tribute Concert will take place 7″30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 14  and will benefit the Thoroughbred Retirement Foundation.

David had a passion for Thoroughbred racing, and was ardent in his support of TRF and its mission of saving former racehorses from abuse and neglect.

Members of David’s band – Teri Cote (drums), Craig Snider (keyboards/vocals); Dave Robicheau (guitar/vocals); Matt Sullivan (guitar/vocals); Vance Brescia (guitar/vocals) and Darrell Craig Harris (bass/vocals), are anticipated to perform at the event.

Tickets are $50 and available by calling TRF at 518-226-0028 or online at https://www.trfinc.org/event/david-cassidy-band-special-guests/.

October 28, 2016 – Concert Review and Photos.

“Hellooo Peekskill” exclaimed David in the midst of a pre-song guitar solo.  “I’m thrilled to be back in my home state where I was born and spent my years growing in New York. I want you to come and enjoy yourselves and share in the love that I have for all of you tonight.”

Always articulate and always complimentary to fans and band members, David led us on a journey through his life starting with ‘C’mon Get Happy’ and on through influences like BB King (‘Sweet Little Angel’), John Lennon (‘In My Life’), Deep Purple (‘Hush’), Jack Cassidy (‘Night and Day’) as well as life changing moments (‘I Think I Love You’). There were tributes to Davy Jones (‘Daydream Believer’) and even to the stages of Times Square (‘On Broadway’).
