To my Fans

Thank you so much for your thoughts and concerns as we live through another deadly storm here and all across the Eastern seaboard. It’s been wild for me to fly back home from finishing recording the Xmas tracks with Craig in Chicago the past week, and although I knew it was gaining strength I wasn’t aware it would arrive so soon.

My area wasn’t hit very hard compared to those who live further north and also inland. I live very close to the beach on a small waterway, and we have been pretty fortunate that the heaviest wind, rain and destruction occurred north of us. Not to, in any way, diminish the hundreds and possible thousands of humans who will or have already suffered.

I thank you all for your love and concern for me, but say a prayer for those who aren’t as fortunate as I.

XO.

A message from David:

To my fans,

I’m living in one of the happiest times of my life in the past 10 years. Never before have I felt more love from my remarkable fans and had more enjoyment out of playing live in concert with this great band of brothers I work and travel with.

I have such a deep appreciation for the way my fans here in North America, and those from overseas, have been so supportive. As a professional whose career has spanned over 45 years, I value all of the great moments I’ve been blessed to have. As in anyone’s life, treasuring the experiences, as well as my personal and private life, is the most important thing for me. As we get older we tend to appreciate absolutely everything more.

I am finishing my promised Christmas recording by the end of August! I’m working with my brother (from another mother) Craig J. We’ll be working in Chicago and will get at least a start on the project I’ve spoken about in concert, “Songs My Father Taught Me”. I would really love to finish them all before the end of September. I know “My Christmas Card To You” will be done by then and I’ll make some limited CD’s available as well as getting it online.

I wish each and every single one of you much love in your life. Hope you can make it to the few shows I have in the last quarter of 2016.

Happy Trails to you…

In The Media – Reviews from June 25th concerts

“I Think I Love You!” David Cassidy at NJPAC!

Web2016July6_01

Cheers erupt as the lights dim and Cassidy makes his entrance, smiling and grinning at the crowd, soloing mightily on his guitar. Segueing into one of his classic Partridge Family hits, “C’mon Get Happy,” the impromptu “cheering section” in the front row takes its cue and happily goes to work excitedly shouting in support of their favorite former teen idol.

David Cassidy – NJPAC Newark NJ

David Cassidy - 3pm show

David hit the stage and looked and sounded great. Guitar in hand, he played for almost 2 straight hours. In a surprising twist, David took us on a musical journey of the last century. David touched on all the music that influenced him and that we all grew up together listening to. Deep Purple, Cole Porter, the Beatles, the Monkees, Jimi Hendrix, BB King, and his Partridge Family and solo career classics. The band was a tight, stellar group of musicians including Dave Robicheau on Guitar, Frank Fabio on Bass, Craig J on Keyboards and Felipe Torres on Drums.

David was charming, witty and engaging. He truly appreciates his fans and was enjoying the crowd as much as we were enjoying him…..

NJPAC gets a double dose of David Cassidy

June 25, 2016 - 7:30pm show

….It’s a somewhat bittersweet fact that many music lovers who embark upon well-intentioned trips down memory lane often regret undertaking the journey. But not tonight. Yes, it’s not 1974 anymore. It’s 2016. But David Cassidy is still around, folks … and that is truly something to get happy about.
