Craig J Snider is a Composer, Producer, Remixer, Songwriter, Label Owner & Multi-instrumentalist. He is best known for his success as a Producer, Arranger and Keyboardist on a string of Remixes & Album productions that have topped Billboard’s dance chart (27 Number One Hits!), including JT’s “What goes around”, Mariah Carey’s “Don’t Forget About Us,” Kelly Clarkson’s “Walk Away”, and Beyoncé’s “Irreplaceable,”. This past year Craig Remixed “Birthday” for Katy Perry, & “Turn up the night” for Enrique Iglesias both #1 records. He also scored films “Life Lessons” & “My Mothers Idea” by acclaimed Peabody award winning filmmaker Maria Fintzo. He also scored the highly acclaimed director Steve James’ (Hoop Dreams and the Interrupters) new film “Head Games”. In December he scored May Tchao’s New film “Spilled water” which premiered In December.
In 1998 Craig co-founded his critically acclaimed underground label, Uncommon Trax (uncommontrax.com). In addition to billboard success (Big Bang Theory “Do U Got Funk,” D. Ramirez “Get Your Freaque On,” Mantronik’s “77 Strings”) the label has successfully placed numerous songs from its catalog in commercials (Best Buy, Bank Of America, Becks), Television shows (Entourage, Moonlight, The L Word, The Hills, Sex in the City) & Film (American Pie: Beta House, Save the Last Dance 2, Meet Bill).
Craig also has broad experience as a composer of original music for advertising and television. Craig has placed songs & or composed music for television shows including: American Greed, The Voice, Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, MTV Cribs, Passions, & Sex and the City. In 2008 He Co-Founded Mix Kitchen Music Sound & Mix (www.mixkitchen.com). His commercial credits include music for Nissan, ESPN, Blue Cross, Gatorade, BK, and McDonald’s.
A Boston native (As a child having studied at New England Conservatory & Berklee), Craig received a degree in piano and composition from Northwestern University. He received additional instruction from renowned recording artists Chic Corea, Jaki Byard, Keith Jarrett, Alain Swain, Michael Tilson Thomas and John Browning.

Craig J and David Cassidy on Good Day LA. March 20, 2015
Craig, I just finished watching the beautiful, but very sad documentary on David. About 6-7 years ago I asked David’s manager if David would be a guest on my television series at the Peter Max art studio in NYC where I filmed. I had zero idea David was so sick. I wanted to talk music and guitar. I know he loved guitar and was so very serious about his guitar playing.
Even though David was a teen I idol, I felt he needed to talk guitar and stood up with all my guests. After about 1,000 shows I filmed all the greats from Les Paul, Pat Martino to Steve Howe. My last four guests were Peter Frampton, Robben Ford, Larry Carlton and Brad Whitfield of Aerosmith. Also, Johnny Winters last televised appearance. He was very sick, so I ended the interview early.
So, I know David would hav been perfect.
A part of me died when David passed. His half brother Sean went to HS not far from where I live in Bucks County, Pa. I also wanted to say what a great player you are by your solo in Summertime and how genuine you came across as a true friend of David’s. I read your impressive bio. That gig with David may have been your most important gig because of all the love between you and him. I think you kept David going. God Bless you Craig.
