David Cassidy, a fixture on the celebrity charity tournament scene, recently debuted his new production show at the Rio Suite Hotel & Casino. Cassidy is right at home at the Rio since the hotel owns and operates the exclusive Rio Secco Golf Club. Guests at the Rio receive preferred access at the course. But Cassidy hasn't had much time lately to perfect his swing. Cassidy, the former teen idol on the Partridge Family, has spent hours writing, producing and starring in "At the Copa". Cassidy co-stars in the combination Broadway Musical and headlining concert with Sheena Easton. Passion, betrayal and love all play throughout the fast-paced storyline of the show. The behind-the-scenes-love-story between Johnny Flamingo (Cassidy) and Ruby Bombay (Easton) is the focus of the show but throughout Easton and Cassidy find the time to sing their hit songs. "It's about making people laugh, great music and a production that blows the roof off!" Cassidy says.
