Dear Pat: I saw a "Police Story" episode starring David Cassidy and realized I haven't seen him in several years. Whatever happened to him? Is he planning to return to show business? Monica, Denver
Cassidy never really left it, although he did spend a quiet five years, performing mostly in regional theater. He did tour with a stage production of "Little Johnny Jones" and for the past several months he has been on Broadway in "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat." Currently, he's working on tunes with Jimmy Webb and making plans for his upcoming marriage to Meryl Tanz, who is also his partner in a horse breeding and racing business.
