C'mon Get Happy: Get ready for a comeback by David Cassidy, the '70s teen idol from "The Partridge Family." Cassidy, now 40, is trying to overcome his bubble-gum image and has a rock album due in October that features eight songs written with his fiancee, Sue Shifrin. At least one disc jockey is giving the album a good review. "Because of the very minor talent of other members of the Partridge Family, David took a beating in the press," said Danny Bonaduce, who co-starred in the series with Cassidy and now is on the air on KKFR-FM in Phoenix. "And he's one of the most talented musicians I know."
