David Cassidy's Newest Cd Includes Some Hits From '70s

David Cassidy is creating a new generation of fans with old "Partridge Family " hits. Cassidy has re-recorded a soulful version of "I Think I Love You," the first single off his new CD "Old Trick New Dog" released earlier this month.
The song has turned up in "Scream 2" and a Levi's commercial.
Cassidy's first CD in seven years also includes remakes of such '70s hits as "I Can Feel Your Heartbeat" and "I Woke Up in Love This Morning."
"I'm not redoing these songs because I feel some obligation or pressure to do them," said Cassidy, who is starring in the Las Vegas musical "EFX."
"I'm doing them because I really love the songs. What pleases me the most is that the songs still work some 20 years later. It's the same guy singing, but from a different place."
