Las Vegas - David Cassidy will end his two-year run as star of EFX in December
"It's been a wild ride - and a genuine pleasure," Cassidy said Wednesday of the flashy musical at the MGM Grand hotel-casino. He took over the lead role from Michael Crawford in 1996.
"From day one, MGM Grand believed in me and my vision for this show," said Cassidy. "Together we created the biggest and best production show on the planet."
Cassidy, who is landing new fans with old "Partridge Family" hits, said he will spend time promoting his new CD, "Old Trick, New Dog" and pursue concerts and TV projects.
