Wyclef Teams With David Cassidy For Benefit Single

The unlikely team of one-time teen idol David Cassidy and head-Fugee Wyclef Jean are among the folks responsible for "Message To The World," a charity single benefiting War Child USA.
The track was penned by Cassidy and his wife, Sue Shrifrin-Cassidy, and also features vocal help from daytime talk fixture Rosie O'Donnell, actor Martin Sheen, musician Dave Koz, actress Dyan Cannon, and many others, including some 50,000 people recorded at Woodstock '99.
The result of this unique assemblage of voices is currently available for download at www.messagetotheworld.org for $2.99. Proceeds from the single will go towards War Child USA's efforts to aid children in war-torn areas.
The organization's cause has been taken up by world renowned opera singer Luciano Pavarotti and has seen David Bowie, Celine Dion, the Spice Girls, and U2's Bono pitch in at events over the years.
