KidsCharities.org Encourages America To "Stand And Be Proud" With A Song Of Hope And An Online Auction

In the wake of last Tuesday's tragic events, KidsCharities.org founder Sue Shifrin-Cassidy, in association with Fundraisers.com, invites everyone to download a free copy of "Stand and Be Proud," and to send a song of hope and inspiration as a message to the world. "Stand and Be Proud" can be found on the KidsCharities.org website, www.kidscharities.org, which will simultaneously be holding an online auction through September 29, to benefit KidsCharities.org's core charities, including The Duchess of York's Chances for Children, which, located on the 102nd floor, was completely devastated in the attack on the World Trade Center.
Sue Shifrin-Cassidy co-wrote "Stand and Be Proud" with husband, entertainer David Cassidy, to be donated to Rebuild LA in the aftermath of the Los Angeles riots. The record, produced by Grammy winning producer Bob Ezrin, and performed by the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra and 1500 choir members from South Central LA, gathered two million dollars in donations and good will in five days following the riots. The song has been revived to promote hope and healing after the national tragedy.
The online "Auction for America" will feature a variety of celebrity memorabilia including a David Justice autographed baseball bat, a Backpacker guitar signed by David Cassidy, and a recording session with award winning producer Bob Ezrin (Pink Floyd's "The Wall").
KidsCharities.org is a non-profit umbrella organization that donates 100% of its online donations to various children's charities including The Duchess of York's Chances for Children, Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, Special Olympics, City of Hope, Planet Hope, Reggie Jackson's Mr. October Foundation, and several more.
