Former teen star David Cassidy will perform this weekend at the coast.
Cassidy performs at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday at Chinook Winds Casino Resort, 1777 NW 44th St., Lincoln City.
Cassidy became a teen heartthrob after his TV debut on "The Partridge Family" in 1970 and had the No. 1 single of 1971 with "I Think I Love You."
Cassidy was responsible for seven Partridge Family hits, including "Doesn't Somebody Want to be Wanted," "I Woke Up In Love This Morning" and "Breaking Up is Hard To Do."
His 2004 CD, "Then and Now," reached platinum status.
Perhaps more importantly, the guy was hot in the 1970s. Between 1970 and 1975, membership in his official fan club exceeded that of Elvis Presley and The Beatles.
Recently, Rolling Stone magazine picked Annie Leibowitz's bare-all photo of Cassidy as one of its best covers.
Tickets are $15 to $30.
