WHO needs the current crop of wannabes when the original pop idols roll into town?
Last night's nostalgia-fest of 70s heart-throbs saw women of a certain age reliving the soundtrack of their teenage years as The Osmonds, David Essex, David Cassidy and Showaddywaddy took to the stage.
Screaming fans with handpainted banners tore the roof off to the Once in a Lifetime 2007 Rewind Tour.
They went wild as each act strutted on stage, especially when the old favourites were belted out.
The Osmonds played their hits including Love Me for A Reason, while Cassidy, who hasn't lost any of his boyish charm, crooned Daydreamer.
Essex's Gonna Make You A Star, and Showaddywaddy's Under The Moon Of Love, also re-ignited a host of gooey collective memories.
Glasgow was the first date on their UK-wide tour, with the chart topping collective also visiting Newcastle, Nottingham, Brighton, London, Cardiff, Manchester and Birmingham before finishing things up in Sheffield.
Adoring fans relived their teenage years as stars of the 70s including David Cassidy, above, performed some of their best-known hits at the start of their tour.
