Another New York-bred open stakes winner last weekend was Half Heaven, who returned to Turfway Park and won the My Charmer Stakes for the second year in a row.
Bred by David Cassidy and owned by Stronach Stable, she is a daughter of state sire Regal Classic.
Half Heaven is out of Sand Pirate, a daughter of Desert Wine who has also produced Niagara Stakes winner Doll Baby.
Sand Pirate is a half-sister to Sharp Looking, the mother of millionaire Continental Red, winner of the Grade 2 San Luis Rey Handicap.
Half Heaven increased her earnings to $435,526 with a record of 9-9-2 from 29 starts.
