Event: Once in a Lifetime - Rewind 2007 (Wembley Arena, London)
Date: Saturday April 14th 2007
London is to play host to four of the biggest acts from the 1970s during a special one-off show to be staged at Wembley Arena.
The Once in a Lifetime - Rewind 2007 gig will see David Essex, David Cassidy, Showaddywaddy and the Osmonds sharing the stage for one night only.
Anyone who grew up in the 1970s are sure to find this night too hard to miss, with most young girls from the time idolising one of the two Davids or little Donny Osmond.
David Cassidy was a child star who turned from TV to music and went on to score smash hits with songs like Could It Be Forever, Daydreamer and the Puppy Song.
Meanwhile, the gravely voiced David Essex hit the top of the charts twice with Gonna Make U A Star and Hold Me Close while also scoring hits with a host of other tracks.
Showaddywaddy will be providing a little more punch to the evening's line-up, with their brand of rock 'n' roll bringing back loads of childhood memories for the ageing audience expected at Wembley Arena for this event.
Then there's the Osmonds. One of the original entertainment families, Wayne, Merrill, Jay and Jimmy are set to make a comeback for this special concert.
More information on the acts performing at Once in a Lifetime- Rewind 2007 can be found on the Visit Britain website.
