Seventies-era heartthrob David Cassidy of the Partridge Family is coming to St. Charles this summer.
Cassidy, the aging superstar whose songbook includes "Come On, Get Happy" and "I Think I Love You," is scheduled to perform July 6 at the Arcada Theater, 105 E. Main St.
The concert is one of only nine remaining stops scheduled on a national tour, according to Cassidy's Web site, www.davidcassidy.com.
The 57-year-old performer is best known as the teen idol who played Keith Partridge in the '70s sitcom "The Partridge Family."
The musical TV group released several albums, as did Cassidy, whose solo career includes more than a dozen records. He also has appeared in several movies.
