Popular actor/singer David Cassidy, an avid horse racing fan, watched a dream come true when his Sweet Vendetta, whom he bred, won the $200,000 Black Eyed Susan Stakes at Pimlico racetrack in Maryland.
As for those emotions felt with winning the filly version of the Preakness Stakes? "With Sweet Vendetta I always believed she'd be a good three-year-old. And honestly, as a breeder, this is one of my greatest thrills," said Cassidy.
One could not help wonder, if Cassidy was humming to himself his hit song from the Partridge Family television show, "I Think I love You."
