Here's a question that will separate the baby boomers from Generation X: Are you going to see David Cassidy's free concert on Friday night?
If you're too young to recognize the name, Cassidy was a teen idol in the 1970's when he starred and sang on the TV show, "The Partridge Family."
David Cassidy enjoyed his biggest success when he was still in his twenties. His role as the oldest son in the musical Partridge Family vaulted him to international fame. But he says, now, at 59:
"I'm having the best time of my life, and I get to tour on weekends and do the show during the week and it's reminiscent of my days in my 20's doing the Partridge Family."
The show Cassidy is doing now is called "Ruby and the Rockits." He plays a washed up rock star and it is slightly tempting to view it as autobiography, but Cassidy insists not, though he says he does have models for the character:
"I've met a lot of rock stars and movie stars that have lost their minds basically."
Cassidy is still working. His show at the TD bank amphitheater in Bensalem, Pa. will be hosted by WOGL's Ross Britain.
