At the premiere of the revised It's a Bird...It's a Plane...It's Superman this evening, Bess Enloe was sitting behind me with her granddaughter and three small classmates of hers from the Hockaday School. But there was an even bigger family reunion a few rows back. Patrick Cassidy plays the villain, Max Mencken, in the show -- the same role his father, Jack Cassidy, played back in 1966 on Broadway. To support the current star, his mother, Shirley Jones , and his half-brother, David Cassidy, were in the audience as part of a larger group. Cool to see them all there.
