Lovestruck teenage girls seem pretty harmless most of the time -- but get enough of them together, and they're downright dangerous. That's what Justin Bieber learned when crowds of screaming fans began swarming his appearances, resulting in multiple fan injuries and two cancelled concerts over the past six months. David Cassidy, the shaggy-haired '70s heartthrob from The Partridge Family, could relate: The extreme crowds he attracted on tour resulted in riots, calls for his deportation, and in one tragic case, a fan being trampled to death. For the Biebermaniacs' sake, we hope crowd control has gotten more sophisticated since 1974.
