'Celeb Apprentice' hires a winner

And the winner of the roughest, toughest, meanest, craziest season of NBC's "Celebrity Apprentice" is.
.country singer John Rich.
It was a good call by Donald Trump. While Marlee Matlin was almost as impressive throughout the entire season, Rich was a force throughout, able to handle the crazies on his team and answer the challenges with creativity and spirit.
The reunion opened some old wounds. David Cassidy is still bitter over Richard Hatch's dismissal of him. Was he a bit homophobic in his reaction? Hatch, of course, had nothing to say, because of that small matter of being back in prison. NeNe Leakes continued to be angry at Star Jones. We're all pretty much over caring at this point.
While proving to be entertaining in its own twisted way, "Celebrity Apprentice" also raised about $3 million for charity, a record for the show, and pretty damn impressive.
What did you think of the "Apprentice" finale? Who should play next season? About the only way I think Trump could top this season would be if he could lure Rosie O'Donnell to play. Stranger things have happened.
