The World's Largest Disco-
Today, Conesus Fest for Charity, Inc. will be celebrating the 18th anniversary of "The World's Largest Disco" presented by Fallsview Casino Resort, Niagara Falls, Canada. All proceeds of this event are donated to Camp Good Days & Special Times, a camp for children with cancer. To date, over $2.5 Million has been donated to Camp and other local cancer-related charities.
The charity event will be held at The Buffalo Niagara Convention Center. The Special Celebrity Guest for tonight's World's Largest Disco is DAVID CASSIDY, acting and singing icon of the 70's. This year's party sold out in 6 hours during a presale on August 8th (that's record time)! Over 7,000 people (many of whom are traveling to WNY from out of the area) will attend the event dressed in vintage clothes from the 70's. The Disco has been featured on "Good Morning America," VH-1's "Where Are They Now," The Travel Channel's "Secrets," the "Washington Post," the front page of "The Wall Street Journal" and is listed as one of the top events in the U.S. in a recently released book entitled "Party Across America." WKBW's own "Promo" the robot will be dancing up a storm at the Disco.
