'70s teen idol David Cassidy to headline Boomers Expo

Ten of the finest artists in New England will be exhibiting as part of the New England Boomers and Seniors Expo Arts Pavilion on Oct. 29 and 30.
The Arts Pavilion, presented by Canvas Fine Arts, will feature a wide variety of artwork created with various mediums including watercolors, acrylics, charcoal, pastels and photography. The pieces vary as much as the artists, encompassing emotion, memories, natural beauty and everyday inspirations. Visitors can also have fun at the photo booth, capturing creative photos to share with others on Facebook and Twitter.
From 9 to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, join en-plain air painter Frank Costantino for a watercolor demonstration. Gain insight into the artistic process of bringing a still life to life with his dynamic teaching methods. He will also be available for a question-and-answer period.
Additional highlights include an array of workshops and interactive exhibits, food and wine tasting, giveaways, and live entertainment including the Boston Pops' April Hall Group, David Cassidy in concert, fashion shows and game shows.
The New England Boomers and Seniors Expo will be held Saturday, Oct. 29, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 30, from 9 a.m to 4 p.m. at the Seaport World Trade Center in Boston.
