Seventies favourites sign up for ECHO arena gig

SEVENTIES music acts David Cassidy, Leo Sayer, Hot Chocolate and Smokie have announced they will unite for an ECHO arena show on November 17.
They are performing as part of the Once In A Lifetime tour.
Between them they have notched up 55 top 10 hits and over 200 million record sales.
This is the first time all four of these acts have performed on the same stage together.
David Cassidy had the top selling single of 1970, multiple Grammy nominations and won a Golden Apple Award.
David released Partridge Family singles including Doesn't Somebody Want To Be Wanted, I Woke Up In Love This Morning, Breaking Up Is Hard To Do, and I Think I Love You, as well as solo hits Cherish, Could It Be Forever, How Can I Be Sure, Rock Me Baby and Lyin' to Myself.
Hot Chocolate started their recording career making a reggae version of John Lennon's Give Peace a Chance and subsequently signed to Apple Records.
It was in the disco era of the mid-1970s that Hot Chocolate became a big success.
Leo Sayer has played the Olympic Stadium in Moscow, New York's Central Park, the Universal Amphitheatre in Los Angeles, the Las Vegas Hilton, Wembley Arena and the Royal Albert Hall. He has had 20 top 10 singles and five top 10 albums.
With singles such as Living Next Door to Alice, Lay Back in the Arms of Someone and If You Think You Know How to Love Me, Smokie had 14 British hits.
