David Cassidy will be playing two shows at Terrible's Lakeside Casino (777 Casino Drive) in Osceola on June 15 and 16. The entertainer will have showtimes at 8 p.m. each night. Tickets for the shows will be $15 to $25, and they are available online through Red Truck Tickets. You must be 21 or older to attend these shows.
David Cassidy started out as a child television star with appearances in shows like The Mod Squad, Adam-12, Bonanza, Marcus Welby, M.D., and others before hitting it big in The Partridge Family. The Partridge Family launched Cassidy's music career. The teen idol would be the lead vocalist on ten Partridge Family albums and release five of his own while working on the show. Three Partridge Family greatest hits collections would follow later, as would 14 more solo albums. Cassidy would earn several Grammy nominations through the years.
Cassidy would not be done with television either. He would go on to make appearances on Police Story, Love Boat, Fantasy Island, Parade of Stars, Alfred Hitchcock Presents, Tales of the Unexpected, The Flash, The John Larroquette Show, Malcolm in the Middle, Kim Possible, and other notable television shows. Cassidy would also land his own series David Cassidy-- Man Undercover, land a ten episode role on Ruby & the Rockits, and get a spot on the 2011 season of the hit reality show Celebrity Apprentice. Cassidy would also take on a couple of roles in musicals and B movies. He was nominated for an Emmy Award and three TV Land Awards (winning one).
Musically, Cassidy is probably best known for songs like "I Think I Love You", "Doesn't Somebody Want To Be Wanted", and "Breaking Up Is Hard To Do" with the Partridge Family, and solo hits like "Cherish", "I Write the Songs" (recorded before Barry Manilow hit it big with the same song later), and "How Can I Be Sure".
