The home of '70s pop star David Cassidy has hit the market in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The former teen idol, who is perhaps best known for playing Keith Partridge on the musical sitcom "The Partridge Family," asks $4.495 million for his 7,016-square-foot Mediterranean-style property.
Cassidy's Harbor Beach home is said to have been rebuilt in 2006 and offers a total of five bedrooms and six bathrooms. The property boasts a huge master suite with its own formal entry, an exercise room, a patio and a separate office with a fireplace. Other highlights include a second-floor "guest VIP suite" with a separate sitting area and balcony, a host of custom finishes and a backyard oasis complete with a pool, spa and boat dock. No word on whether the speedboat pictured in the listing is included in Cassidy's asking price.
Cassidy has made his share of real estate headlines over the years. In July of 2012, the singer was forced to hand over the keys to his Fort Lauderdale condo following a two-year dispute with mortgage lenders. In exchange for the high-rise residence, the Miami bank agreed to forgo Cassidy's debt of $920,000. A few months later, it was Cassidy's turn to play the part of bill collector when he sued renters of his Fort Lauderdale home over $10,000 in unpaid rent.
