Since the age of 20, David Cassidy has been an entertainment force, thanks in large part to his starring role on "The Partridge Family." Four decades and more than 24 platinum recordings later, the artist will headline the Platform opening party.
First Vegas memory:
"When I was a little boy, my dad, Jack Cassidy, and my stepmom, Shirley Jones, took me to see Frank Sinatra."
Favorite Sin City venue:
"The old [show] room at the Flamingo. I played at the original room where Frank [Sinatra] performed. It's beautiful."
Top moment:
"For the millennium, I performed in the EFX show at the MGM Grand. At midnight, we [set off] fireworks inside."
Go-to performance shoes:
"Black Pumas. I have those in about four or five different styles. I have some nerve damage [in my feet] from doing 2,000 Vegas shows on steel stages, so I wear mostly comfortable shoes onstage. I like easy slip-ons."
