CSI Casting – David Cassidy Puts on His Poker Face and Michaela McManus has a Murderous Reunion

Today we have a couple of announcements regarding upcoming guest stars on CSI, so hold on to your butts. It's the usual fluff – nothing overly exciting this time around – but I think we can make it just slightly more interesting with the right amount of spin. Thankfully, I love spinning things. I'll definitely need to spin this considering one of our guest stars is former teen idol David Cassidy. Yeah, I don't know who he is either – curse my young age! Our other guest star is none other than former Law & Order: SVU ADA Michaela McManus. Her fame is much more recent and chances are if you watch CSI, you've likely seen a little SVU.
So let's get right down to it, starting with Cassidy. Once well known in his youth, Cassidy's more recently been reduced to appearing on Celebrity Apprentice – a sure sign your fame is in doubt. Appropriately, Cassidy will be playing Mr. Coe, says TV Guide, a veteran poker player desperately trying to hold on to his youth. And how do semi-famous people do that? If you're guessing Botox then you are dead on. This guy can't get enough of it, but it might not be just to keep his face looking young. He'll show up in Episode 7, where he will use this Botox to give himself a permanent poker face. Some might consider this cheating. We'll have to wait and see how the pit bosses feel about Mr. Coe's methods.
According to TVLine, McManus will guest star in an episode featuring a high school reunion. McManus will play Kelly, the former mean girl of her high school and the BFF of the class queen, the same queen who is found dead at the reunion. I'm already suspicious this Kelly woman had something to do with this crime. Even if she didn't do it, she probably knows something about it. With this casting, McManus will have appeared on all three CSIs.
