David Cassidy on the Web
CSI: Crime Scene Investigation

Series 13 - 16. Last Woman Standing
Review by: Jane Rackham
It's not quite blink-and-you'll-miss-it but David Cassidy's guest turn here is all too brief — especially as his character spends more screen time dead than alive. The former teen heart-throb has a cameo as professional poker player Peter Coe who, according to Morgan, "lost big in the Classic and lost even more in the elevator". That's her way of saying that after losing a big game, Coe was somehow murdered in an otherwise empty hotel lift between the ground and the second floor.
His death is merely the first of several gruesome, almost theatrical, murders that relate back to a poker tournament some years earlier. Shades of Theatre of Blood?
About this programme
Russell and the team investigate when a poker professional is found dead in a hotel lift and Hodges speculates that a playing card thrown quickly enough through the closing doors could have severed the man's artery. When another card player is found dead after having been force-fed seven chicken hearts, the detectives question magician James Nefarro. Guest starring 1970s pop star David Cassidy and Henry Ian Cusick (Lost).
