PASO ROBLES (CA) – The California Mid-State Fair, as part of the Budweiser Concert ¬¬¬-Series, is pleased to announce that David Cassidy has been confirmed for two shows on Saturday, July 20th at 6:30p and 8:30p on the Frontier Stage. David Cassidy's concert will be free with your paid admission to the Fair.
David Cassidy has managed to stay at the top of his game for over four decades, with a unique ability to re-invent himself and adapt to numerous genres. Cassidy rose to stardom in "The Partridge Family" and became the biggest TV and performing phenomenon in history by the time he was 20. David Cassidy has made his mark in numerous areas including recording, record-breaking concert tours, Broadway, and Las Vegas production shows.
Cassidy has proven that it's talent, creativity and tenacity that keep people coming to shows, turning on the television, and buying his recordings. Cassidy's hits include "C'mon Get Happy", "Cherish", "I Woke Up In Love This Morning", "Breaking Up Is Hard To Do", and "I Think I Love You". "I Think I Love You" was the number one selling single of 1970, earned Record of the Year and won numerous awards. Cassidy broke audience records in arenas from Madison Square Garden to Australia's Cricket Stadium. In more recent years, he starred in and produced several shows in Las Vegas that won top awards and broke box office attendance.
The 2013 California Mid-State Fair runs July 17th through July 28th. This year's theme is "Start Spreading The News!"
