(LOS ANGELES) — More than three years ago, David Cassidy filed a lawsuit in which he claimed he was owed profits from the sale of merchandise related to his classic 1970s sitcom, The Partridge Family.
He's now set to cash in on his legal battle with Sony, the show's distributor, though not for as much as he'd probably like.
TMZ reports an arbitrator has ruled in Cassidy's favor, awarding him approximately $158,000. He had been seeking millions of dollars in damages. Cassidy has since requested that Sony also pony up nearly $100,000 in arbitration fees and interest.
Both sides will return to court later this month.
