Today we say goodbye to yet another artist, this one closer to home for me. This pic is circa 1998 at the Riviera Le Bistro Lounge, where DC loved to come by and sit in with my band. Loved to sing 'Tenderness' as I recall. A few things he enjoyed, in no particular order: Cigars, The Yankees, Deep Purple, the 'Anka' rant (he had the whole thing memorized!). When he had his demons at bay, he was a really great & talented guy - I will miss that DC. R.I.P. DC....
