A fans tale of seeing David in Concert:
February 20, 1972
I was 13 years old when I went to see David's concert in Philly. I just remember the snow. My dad and brother drove me and 3 of my friends. The weather was bad, so they ended up buying a ticket, and sat at the top section. We were down on the floor. I actually got past the guards, and I remember just standing there feeling like my knees were going to cave in. I just stared at David moving on the stage. It was just an experience I will remember forever. David thanked everyone for coming out in such bad weather. I remember screaming at the top of my lungs along with all the other thousands of girls. Oh, and his white suit. He just looked dynamite!!! Didn't get to meet him or anything like that. Not like my 15 year old daughter who met Hanson 3 times already, and her and I, and her friends got our picture taken with them.
