David Cassidy in Concert
May 1, 1989
This performance was for the May Day Celebrations in Russia. David and Sue were invited to perform at The Drusba where the Olympics were held back in the 1930s.
The Iron Curtain was still up and they were amongst the very few Westerners who were invited to perform. Over 1 billion people behind the Iron Curtain saw the show.
The invitation came as a result of Sue going there as a part of Music Speaks Louder Than Words- the first ever collaboration between American and Russian songwriters. Sue wrote the single "Speak to My Heart" that was recorded by Phoebe Snow.
The following is video footage of David and his wife Sue singing "Treat Me Like You Used To".
