Hi everyone!!
I am so excited, I don't know where to begin! I've only gotten two hours sleep in two days -- so I will try to keep it short. The concert was fabulous. David looked the best he has in a long time. He looked rested, sounded incredible and had a new royal blue shiny shirt that I had never seen before. I know you all know that he sings Partridge songs, Copa songs, and new songs -- so I will skip that. I had front row and shook his hand twice!! The first time I pulled his wedding ring half off unintentionally!!
Now for the good part! I got my backstage pass from Robin before the show. After the show, about 50 people formed a line to enter the backstage doors. At first, Robin said, that David wouldn't have time for pictures with us but she changed her mind and said we could do candid photos with him but no autographs - he just didn't have the time to do both. That's Okay -- that's all I wanted. So David came out about 30 minutes later and thanked everyone. He said that the promoter was so impressed with him, that they want him back. Everyone in line was getting about 45 seconds to talk to him and then you moved on. Then it was my turn. I handed Robin my camera and turned to David. He held out his arm and put it around my waist - we were nose to nose and he had a huge smile, and I said I really enjoyed the show, David!! He said thanks, I'm glad you liked it, I enjoyed it too!! He then patted me three times on my stomach!! I almost died. We then looked into the camera as Robin took our picture. My arm was still around him, and I said that your shows in Vegas were excellent too, David -- I loved them. He then said, "Oh, thanks" SWEETIE -- you come and see me again -- winked and had a smile from ear to ear. I said, "I will" as I shook his hand and left. I just picked up my pictures and they look like they were professionally taken!!!
The concert ones are great too even though cameras were prohibited. The photo of us together is to die for. He looks so good in it. Just thought I would share my great weekend with everybody. By the way, it was nice meeting you Lyn. Bye for now,
