Hi Friends,
I'm back from Phoenix and the Arizona State Fair, where I saw David on Friday night. He was absolutely gorgeous (duh) and had the most beautiful twinkling eyes and a little laugh mixed in with each song... he really was having a great time, and the show was fantastic!
From the moment he ran out on stage (about 10 feet in front of me because I was in the 3rd row, very center--awesome!) it was so electrifying, I just couldn't stop jumping up and down and screaming!! (sorry to the people behind me... I screamed a lot.)
When Rock Me Baby started it was heaven! He's just so sexy in that song. Well, actually, in all the songs, LOL!
The song list was the usual, plus Mack the Knife (YAY!) and Tenderness, and a beautiful version of God Bless America, where he sang with his arms spread open wide, as if to embrace the audience. Wow, what a babe!!
After just a few songs, someone in the very front row must have said something a little too loud, because David stopped and said "What about my pants?" and then "I'm 51 you know." Gotta admit, those pants were tight and just right!
It went by all too fast, but it got my heart pounding for about 90 minutes nonstop! He wore a shimmery black shirt and those great black jeans (with a little white mark on the knee after singing Tenderness), and Candace was wearing the black leather with fringe like in Suzanne's pics. I couldn't take any pictures because "no flash" allowed, but it was still the best time I've ever had seeing David. He was the best.
When he started Cherish, I just couldn't stop myself, I yelled out "You are gorgeous!" and the girls in front of me turned around and said "NO KIDDING!!!!!!" We were ALL enjoying the scenery immensely.
Now I just can't think of anything else but the next show..... hurry up Thanksgiving!
While waiting for the show to start, Meesh and I wandered around the fairgrounds, and decided to get a snack. I got the homemade potato chips and Meesh got the FOOTLONG corndog...... that corndog started us giggling up a storm and we were.... uh... reminded of it throughout the concert... and that's all I'm going to say about that!
Thank you to Carol and Erik (David Cassidy Fan Site of Norway)
