Concert Reviews
Taste of Minnesota Festival, Minnesota, USA
July 4, 2006
The concert was awesome.
I have never seen David in top form like he was last night. Everything was very positive and he had a lot of energy going on. He looked like he was 20 again performing. Lots of MOVES!
David thanked the crowd for being there to celebrate the 4th with him and thanked the crowd for being such great fans, several times. No hecklers either. You could not touch David because of a barricade. He signed a t-shirt someone handed him and a record, Cherish. I was shocked, because he NEVER signs autographs for anyone. He even personalized the record one after getting the guy's name. After his warm up song he said hello to "IOWA" instead of Minnesota. A few people yelled Minnesota back. He had no idea about that being a mistake. He never corrected it either, just kept on going.
During the show David made an announcement that sometime next year he has boxed sets of the Partridge Family CD's coming out.
David sang for 1 hour and 15 minutes. He did an awesome rendition of C'mon Get Happy. He closed with I Think I Love You. There was no encore.
