Concert Reviews
Mohegan Sun, Uncasville, CT
February 10th, 2008
We grabbed our spots in line after the show Saturday night, so we had the same seats for Sunday's show. There wasn't quite as big a line on Sunday as the day before.
The show wasn't EXACTLY like the night before, but close. David sang How Can I Be Sure instead of Rock Me Baby, and we didn't get any encore at the end. The audience attempted to do that arm-swaying thing during How Can I Be Sure, but I guess us Americans just don't get it, because on one side of the stage, the UK and Germany girls were doing great, but the other side of the stage, HA HA HA, it was hilarious, arms going in all directions! I guess we are "sway challenged!"
During Echo Valley, David took my phone! He opened it, looked at the picture, rolled his eyes and said "oh God, it's me!" and then he was sooooo funny..he said "Operator, get me Echo Valley 26809" in a silly high-pitched old lady voice!EEEEEEEEE! He breathed on my phone!!!
Both shows were fantastic and it was great to see everybody again. Meeting Rob was a true highlight.
Thank you to Clara, Freda and Rose for the gifts.
Did you make it home OK Gail? Poor Gail was also stranded at the Providence airport all day Monday, but at least I had somebody to talk to!!
Love Carol
